Expert filmmaker, Yash Chopra’s older son Aditya Chopra and actress Rani Mukerji, have been romantically involved with each other for numerous years now. The couple celebrated the auspicious festival of Diwali together at Adityodaya, the Chopra home in Juhu, Mumbai amidst a few close friends and family members, including Aditya’s parents, Yash and Pamela and younger brother Uday.
Aditya looked tremendously glad just watching Rani having a good time with sparklers and the like at his family home.
Though the duo has never admitted to the same or sought refuge of the much abused “just friends” stand, it was smartly disguised as a working relationship between an actress and a filmmaker to the larger public all this while.
The Aditya-Rani relationship is Bollywood’s most talked about romance, albeit in whispers of course.
The Chopra scion is a media recluse and shuns attention, claiming that it helps him make better movies being a nobody in the public eye.
This is the first time Aditya and Rani have been photographed together. He has only been photographed by the media twice before.
Aditya looks quite different from his previously, boyish shots which came out when he directed Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge back in 1995.
For now, Rani is all set to become Aditya’s dulhania soon, but like Aditya’s low-key and strange nature, not even their inner circle knows the date yet! But the good news is, Yash and Pamela have at last come to terms with their son’s love for Rani and seemed to have accepted the situation.
Aditya was married to childhood sweetheart, Payal Khanna earlier and divorced her in 2009 much against his family’s will. The Chopras shared a fabulous equation with Payal and continue to do so, despite the divorce.
