Katrina is cool about Shahrukh’s pulling leg act in media!

Salman Khan frequently makes fun of his ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif and the actress is very cool about it. We guess, Shahrukh Khan, Katrina’s co-star in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, is also following Salman’s footsteps as the actor was also seen pulling Katrina leg, at a recent press event. This time too, Katrina didn’t mind.

So what does Katrina Kaif have to say about all this?

Well, the actress doesn’t mind, as she feels she is no unfamiliar person to the industry and so why take offense simply…

“They’re not going to do that if they are not open with me. We share a good rapport with each other. I’ve known Salman for quite a long time now and he is a good friend. Apart from being a fabulous co-star, Shah Rukh is chivalry personified. The very fact that they crack jokes and make people laugh at my expense proves the kind of rapport I share with both of them. Besides, who doesn’t like to make others laugh?” asked Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif also told that she is not allergic to humour, “These media events are usually tedious with the clichéd questions asked again and again. Under such dull conditions, if they decide to poke harmless fun at me, I don’t see anything wrong with that. On the contrary, it brightens up the ambiance and the people end up saying ‘maza aaya’ while leaving the room. I think that’s how it should be. We are all just doing our job here and I don’t take myself seriously.”

Katrina is all set to star opposite Shahrukh Khan, in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, a Yash Chopra film. JTHJ also headlines Anushka Sharma.

Malaika Arora confirms about friend Kareena’s special item number!

Malaika Arora, created a sensation with her item number ‘Munni Badnaam’ in the smash hit movie Dabangg. Now, the diva is all set to recreate the magic in the sequel of the film Dabangg 2. But Malaika is being tight lipped about her role in the movie.

“I am a part of the film, but in what capacity, you will only know that once you see the film. So when you watch the film, then you will see me,” Malaika told at the recent Belnder’s Pride fashion show.

While Malaika isn’t ready to reveal in any details about her part, she tells that she is very happy that her friend and actress Kareena Kapoor is a part of the home production.

But Malaika won’t be missing out, as she too will be doing an item number in the film. Seemingly, Malaika Arora shot a song with Salman titled ‘Pandeyji Ceete Maare’for the movie.

But, she has also made it clear that she is happy that Kareena Kapoor is doing a special song in Dabangg 2.

“Kareena is unquestionably a part of our film and I am really glad that she is there and will be doing a special song in our film,” she told.

Dabangg 2 will see Salman back in action as a cop and Sonakshi will be seen as his wife. The movie is directed by Malaika’s husband and Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan.

The movie expected to hit theaters on Dec 21. .

Sanjay Dutt shares screen with Saif Ali Khan for Milan Luthria’s next!

If all goes as premeditated, director Milan Luthria’s next untitled film, which stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead, may also rope in Sanjay Dutt as the second lead. The movie is said to go on floors in July, next year.

Bhushan Kumar, the producer of the film reveals, “Yes, there are two leading men in this film. We have not finalised the second lead though. The film is in the writing stage and we will finalise the second lead soon.”

Kumar further adds, “It is not finalized yet, if Sanjay Dutt will be joining the film. So, I can’t comment on it right now. When Milan was writing the film, he came up with some ideas and we are working on it accordingly”.

Previously, news was that Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing a double role in the movie.

As far as the female lead is concerned, Kumar told that they “are in the process of finalizing the leading lady. The movie is going on floors in July 2013 so we have enough time with us”.

In the past, “Kachche Dhaage” and “Deewaar” saw Saif and Sanjay come together. Both the films were directed by Luthria.

Aamir Khan delays Dhoom 3 shoot due to other commitments!

Aamir Khan yet again pushes the shoot schedule for Dhoom 3, as he focuses on his other assignments, which have been pending from quite sometime. Now, Aamir will get back to filming Dhoom 3 only next year, possibly by March.

An insider from the production house reveals, “Aamir will resume shooting for Dhoom:3 in March next year.”

The actor was in Chicago till freshly, where he finished a month long schedule for the movie. Joining him were Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif. After completing the Chicago schedule, he along with his mother, proceeded to Mecca on Haj for 11 days.

Well, this is not the first time that Aamir delayed the filming of Dhoom 3. Previously too, the actor kept the film’s schedule on hold to focus on his TV show, Satyamev Jayate, and his forthcoming movie, Talaash. Now that ‘Talaash’ is just a month away from its release, Aamir is busy promoting his movie, postponing Dhoom 3′s schedule. Talaash is set to hit theaters on November 30.

However, Dhoom 3 will not be on a complete hold, despite Aamir’s absence. The markers will concentrate on other parts of the movie.

A source tells, “Katrina will be shooting some of her parts in December. She will have a 10-day schedule in Mumbai, where she will be shooting some acrobatic stunts since she plays a gymnast in the movie.”

Did Salman Khan be naughty with Sapna Bhavnani in past?

Lately, celebrity hairstylist, Sapna Bhavnai lashed out against Salman Khan in the Big Boss house calling him a “Serial Woman-Beater” in front of all the cameras in the house. However, those portions were not telecast. Now, housemate Aseem Trivedi who recently got voted out confirmed that the whole episode did take place and only because Sapna was provoked by Salman.

Aseem told, “Salman Khan misbehaved with Sapna. When he overstepped the line of decency, she obviously retaliated. But then, any self-respecting individual would have done the same thing.”

However, Aseem didn’t accurately explain what Salman’s misbehavior was.

According to reports, Sapna was angry with what she claims as constant insults from the star host. It all started when Sapna said that she wasn’t in the Bigg Boss house for money, and Salman mocked her saying: “If you are not here to play the game, are you on a picnic at a resort?”

Sapna, irritated with the host shot back, telling, “Koi haq nahi banta har hafte sabki bezzati kartye rahe, har Friday. Kyunki aap mujhe paisa dete ho mai aapki bullshit sunti rahoongi har Friday?”

For the first time a host has been involved in an argument with a housemate on Bigg Boss. Despite this, Salman Khan still hasn’t reacted to the accusations of misbehaving with Sapna.

Sonakshi Sinha opposes size zero mania in bollywood!

While most of the actresses are exercise hard and have stern workout regimes to get rid of those few extra kilos, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha doesn’t think there’s a need for her to loose some weight. In fact, the actress tells that no actress should be size zero as it is very harmful.

These words were spoken when Sonakshi Sinha was asked about her weight issues freshly. Sonakshi got very offended claiming that she was completely fit. Astonishingly, she took a dig at the Bollywood babes who are in favor of size zero.

Sonakshi told, “Beyond a point you stop reacting to it. The audience has accepted me, that’s what matters. It’s not like people aren’t coming to me with movies. Honestly, I have worked very hard to look the way I do today. I have lost a lot of weight. I still work hard on myself, my films, my skills and that’s paying off. So far, in all the roles that I have played, I am not required to be size zero. I am not a model, I am an actor. I am a regular 25 year old, happy playing roles that let me be like that. Being fit is a part of this industry and I am quite fit. I don’t fall sick, collapse on sets and faint. I can work for long hours.”

Possibly Sonakshi just doesn’t have what it takes to get the perfect body.

Now the next Bollywood queen is Huma Qureshi?

Huma Qureshi has been on cloud 9 ever since she made her debut in Anusrag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur. The actress was only just seen in Love Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, for which the critics couldn’t stop praising her act. Lately in an interview Huma spoke about how her career started and what kind of movies she wants to do.

She spoke about how she got to work for Gangs Of Wasseypur. Huma told, “I worked in the first television commercial directed by Anurag (Kashyap) and he liked my work. He said me that he would cast me in a movie, but I couldn’t believe that. It took a long time for the fact to sink in that I would be working with the man who made Black Friday.”

She also told that even though her roles in GOW and LSTCK were not alluring, they were very different.

Huma told, “They may not be glamorous roles, but they are so different from each other. Mohseena (GOW) and Harman (LSTCK) are completely opposite. While Mohseena was a gawaar (yokel), Harman was a doctor. Both had different personalities, Mohseena was fully dedicated to Faizal (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), but Harman had a life of her own. I am at the stage in my career where I am glad and grateful that these roles came my way. As an actor I want to explore all kinds of characters.”

When she was asked about what kind of movies she would like to work in and if she was game for doing item numbers, she told, “It is the script that makes or breaks a film. If the script is good, the film eventually turns out well. And item numbers are just a passing fad, just like Rs 100 crore films. I would like to be a part of films that stand the test of time.”

Speaking about her next movie, Huma Qureshi said that she was blessed to be working with Vishal Bhardwaj. The actress told, “Yes, I do consider myself lucky. I think there are so many people who are better looking, skinny and talented than I am. I don’t know what the recipe or the X Factor in my case is, but if I really had to break it down, what sets me apart is that I try and be real. I don’t try and be poised and be somebody else. Probably that’s what makes one interesting as a person. I feel blessed to be working with Anurag (Kashyap) and Vishal ji (Bhardwaj).”

Shahrukh Khan stops Katrina to answer ‘Who is her favorite Khan’!

Only just, Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma were seen together promoting their forthcoming movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. As natural, Shahrukh was the center of attraction as he stole the limelight and managed to entertain the media to the fullest. However, Shahrukh became very insecure when a person from the media asked Katrina about which is her favorite Khan.

Katrina, who is most likely in the best phase of her career, has worked with all the three Khans. Recently with Salman in Ek Tha Tiger, with SRK in JTHJ and with Aamir in Dhoom 3. The media would noticeably want to ask her that question as she has worked with all three of them. But, before Katrina could reply, Shahrukh interrupted and told that these kinds of questions only create needless controversies.

Beforehand, during the promotions of We Are Family, Kareena Kapoor was asked the same question. Kareena was honest and spoke her mind but Katrina couldn’t get a chance to do so. Maybe Shahrukh should have just let Katrina speak or maybe he’s just frightened that she wouldn’t have taken his name.

Deepika Padukone is new action babe in Bollywood again?

Deepika Padukone is all set to try action once more, in Race 2, with her first being ‘Chandini Chowk To China’. However, Race 2 is an intense action thriller, and Deepika is super thrilled about being a part of this genre.

Deepika tells, “Abbasji-Mustanji (directors) have mastered this genre. I was a bit nervous during the first couple of days since this is the first time I’ve attempted an action thriller, but they gave me a lot of confidence and made me feel comfortable.”

The actress is regularly seen in romcom movies. But, Race 2 will be a refreshing change for us and her fans too. DP’s character in the movie is dark and shady.

Abbas discloses “Despite her romantic heroine image, she had no qualms about playing a character that had grey shades. We were keen on casting her as the role required someone really glamourous and sexy and yet look convincing while pulling off stunts. We were prepared to use body doubles in case she didn’t want to do the action herself as the scenes required some risky stunts. But she surprised us all by not only committing to do them herself, but by actually doing them well.”

He further adds, “she will be seen performing some thrilling car chase sequences which are the highlights of the film. Just like her character, she is equally fearless in real life and looks very convincing on screen. She was even comfortable handling guns, which I haven’t seen in many actors. She’ll easily be one of the hottest action babes in Bollywood.”

Kareena Kapoor is new Madhubala for Aamir Khan!

Muskaanein, the song from Talaash, featuring the beautiful Kareena Kapoor, has left everyone wanting for more. Kareena’s super sexy avatar has now become the talk of the town. The retro get-up looked fab on Kareena. Even the film’s lead, Aamir Khan is in absolute awe of the actress, comparing her to Madhubala.

Talaash’s first song Muskaanein, reminds Aamir of the golden era suspense movies like Woh Kaun Thi and Mera Saaya. Then, walks in Kareena Kapoor donned in a beautiful red long outfit with jardozi work, designed by Manoshi Nath.

The dance number has been choreographed by Caesar of Bosco-Caesar. The whole number is calm and very strange and Kareena is seen doing some classy jazz moves too. The song is basically an intro of all the pivotal characters in the movie, including Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in the same place. However, only Kareena gets to show us some of her sensuous moves

Suman Sridhar has brilliantly sung the song, with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar and music by Ram Sampath of Delhi Belly fame.

Talaash is releasing on November 30. The promotion of the film however hasn’t begun yet.

Now there is no delay in Aamir’s ‘PK’!

News about the Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starer ‘PK’ being postponed have been quashed by director Rajkumar Hirani. In fact, the filmmaker is surprised by these rumors. He tells that he is busy hunting for shooting locations for ‘PK’ in Delhi and Rajasthan.

Rajkumar Hirani tells the team’s second unit has already started shooting two weeks back. But, the principal shooting and photography will only begin in mid-January.

Hirani told, “I have been on location hunt in interiors of Rajasthan and Delhi. Songs are being recorded for ‘PK’. All my energies are focused on the film. Nothing has changed. I wanted to capture the winter of Delhi and that’s when we start shooting. We are on schedule.”

“Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma join the shooting in mid-January. We would be announcing a young dynamic actor in the second lead in a week’s time,” he further added.

As of now, Aamir Khan is busy promoting his forthcoming movie Talaash, while Anushka is still shooting for Matru Ki Bijilee Ka Mandola which hits theaters in Jan.
