Kaahani will remake in three different languages!

Vidya Balan’s Kahaani is going great guns. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie will soon be remade in Tamil and Telugu, and most probably in English too.
“There are talks. If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, it didn’t happen. It’s at a very nascent stage.” Ghosh told, at the DVD release of “Kahaani”.
Endemol India, a TV production company, which is now into movie making, has purchased the remake rights for Telugu and Tamil version of “Kahaani”.
The remakes is said to roll on floors in September. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions will release in January 2013.
“I’m delighted to know that the film and the ‘Kahaani’ franchise are being handled by a reputed name in the entertainment industry like Endemol India,” Ghosh told in a statement.
“This association will help us reach out to audiences in the south. Here’s looking forward to great success,” he added.

The pregnant woman’s act is natural for me: Vidya Balan

If she naturally essayed the role of a sex symbol in 'The Dirty Picutre', it was a cakewalk to play a pregnant woman in search of her husband in 'Kahaani', tells Vidya Balan.
'It was not tough at all. During our college life, we all friends used to do all the nautankis and these stand-up items. And my favourite role would always be of a pregnant woman. So the walk and all came to me very naturally,' Vidya, 33, said journalists here.
Vidya ruled Bollywood as Silk last year and it seems she wants to take it forward with 'Kahaani' as she is aggressively promoting the film. If she dressed like her character for the promotion of 'The Dirty Picture', the actress appeared with a baby bump at the 'Kahaani' promotional event.
'Kahaani', scheduled to release March 9, is not the first movie to feature her as a mother -- in 'Paa' and 'Heyy Babyy' too she had played a mom.
Besides her hard work, Vidya can't stop admiring director Sujoy Ghosh's efforts and told, 'He is very energetic. We managed to shoot continuously for 64 days without any break. Sujoy would not let the mood drop.'
Vidya, who started her career with Pradeep Sarkar and went on to work with acclaimed directors like Priyadarshan, R. Balakrishnan and Abhishek Chaubey, hasn't got an opportunity to repeat her directors.
When asked about this, she told, 'I don't make any rules. I would be happy to work with the directors with whom I have already worked. Few times it didn't work out. May be in future I will work with them. I am very greedy.'
Her recent was with director Milan Luthria - they teamed up for 'The Dirty Picture' and the movie became a smash hit.

The actress enacts the role of a pregnant woman ho is in search of her missing husband. Major part of the movie has been shot in Kolkata. Director Sujoy Ghosh posted, “KAHAANI was shot in all real locations. No budget to build set. In Kolkata its totally impossible to shoot real but we did it:)”
Sujoy Ghosh had written the script of the movie keeping Vidya in mind.
In the first look of Kahaani, with the background of the famous Howrah bridge, Vidya is shown pregnant, having a tired look on her face.
