As an actor, you are anyways going to talk good about your film, says Anushka Sharma!

Anushka Sharma has all the right reasons to be overjoyed. Her PK has taken a bumper start all over and in the process wiped away the deficit that she had encountered post Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. With the movie crossing the 100 crore mark already, it is still going outstanding at the box office even on the weekdays.

Still, the fact remains that as a tactical decision, nothing about PK disclosed in the promotion. Though now it is known by one and all that the movie deals with God, God-men and religion in general, at the onset of the film's marketing and promotional kick-start, didn't Anushka worry that the strategy of keeping mum may backfire as there was a chance of audience not getting intrigued enough?

"No, and that's because the promo was appreciated a lot," immediately tells Anushka, "If the promo is not interesting then people won't come to theaters, no matter how much you bombard the marketing and promotion campaign. When you start talking too much about a film, it doesn't really add much because as an actor, you are anyways going to talk very good about your film."

She goes on to add further, "I don't think I have ever been interested in watching a film just because the actor in it has been talking so good about it. I make my choice based on how the promo has made an impression on me."

Well, guess the promo and now the movie have indeed made an impression on the viewers, what with the movie set to have a long run in time to come.

In the mean time, while Anushka has now scored big with Rajkumar Hirani, 2015 is already looking appealing indeed, what with movies each with Anurag Kashyap (Bombay Velvet), Zoya Akhtar (Dil Dhadakne Do), Navdeep Singh (NH10) and Karan Johar (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil).

PK does not slam Religion or Godmen: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan's PK has received a lot of criticism on social media and elsewhere for hurting religious sentiments of people. PK although opened to full houses and is considered the biggest hit of 2014, has been panned by religious groups for mocking their faith and questioning their beliefs.

Coming in defence of his film Aamir tells, ''PK does not slam any Religion or Godmen. It has merely thrown light on the hypocrisy and mal practices carried out by certain people under the guise of religion. Not all Godmen take undue advantage of the poor and needy and it is unfair to put all the lumps in one pool. There are several Godmen who indeed help out their followers and treat everyone equally. For those who have seen PK, they would know that it is a fable and a work of fiction wherein an 'alien' just wants to find his remote control and return home.''

PK saw the teaming up of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani after a period of five years.
