Preity Zinta breaks her silence on the social media!

On the social networking site Preity Zinta posted,

From my heart….

I may not be super wealthy and powerful but i have truth by my side and I’ve worked very hard all my life and tried to earn respect for myself as a self made professional. It saddens me that no one at work or around ever stood up for me in the past when i was abused and insulted publicly. This time i was left with no option but to take this stern step as this incident happened in front of way too many people.
Sometimes we are so ashamed and humiliated that we fool ourselves to believe that no one saw what happened. Everyone always looks away as if they don’t exist or then we don’t exist. People are embarrassed just enough to look away, but not too embarrassed to intervene.

Ironically what happened at Wankade is being diluted by every other fabricated story about my character except the truth of what happened. I’m sure the witnesses will speak the truth and i trust and believe that the police will do their job fairly and quickly.

No woman likes to be involved in a controversy like this which makes her open and vulnerable for all to take a dig at. I have worked for over 15 years in the film industry and have never been subject to such humiliating behaviour and for that i really want to thank all the men that worked with me. Through all our highs and lows my head was always held high.

Every human being has a limit to how much they can take ; some of us foolishly call it strength and try to look ahead focusing on the positives of work and life. All these years i have never said anything about him in the media but now i have no choice.

I humbly request the media and my supporters to pls focus on the issue and the incident that happened in Wankade and not turn this and me into a TV soap. This is not easy for me and my intention is not to harm anyone but simply to protect myself and to stand up for myself. I don’t want any sympathy from anyone but i will sincerely appreciate it if people do not try to take away my dignity in the process of my fight for respect at my workplace. I think after all these years i deserve it and I’m not asking for too much.

Preity’s allegations are totally false and baseless, says Ness Wadia!

We had reported that actress Preity Zinta had filed a complaint at Marine Drive Police station, accusing her ex-boyfriend and business partner Ness Wadia, of molesting her inside Wankhede stadium in south Mumbai. The incident took place on May 30, following which Preity gave a written complaint and lodged an FIR on Thursday, 12 June 2014.

The FIR lodged by the actress confirmed that Ness Wadia harassed, abused and threatened her despite their relationship going kaput a few years ago.

Reacting to the above allegations made againt him; Ness Wadia said “I am shocked and dismayed. The allegations are totally false and baseless. He went on to says that he was disgusted with the fact that Preity could “stoop to such a level.”

So why was there a delay in filing a complaint instantly after the incident?

A police officer told, “The actor claimed that she had to go out of the city and hence she could not approach the police earlier. As soon as she returned, she lodged a complaint.”

Preity Zinta issued a statement to the media, telling, “This is a very difficult time for me. I request the media to respect my privacy. My intention isn’t to harm any one but only to protect myself.”

In the meantime, Wadia claims that assaulting the actress is simply impossible as she is always surrounded by bouncers. A source close to Wadia told, “Zinta could not digest the fact that her former boyfriend, who is still her business partner, was involved in another relationship.” They further included, “His mother had to undergo serious discomfort when attending a Kings XI Punjab match resulting in an argument between the two. Zinta has been trying to garner publicity out of whatever is left of her relationship with Wadia.”

Nargis Fakhri is in no mood for any link-ups. The American model-turned-actress was obviously upset when she was questioned about her recent photograph with industrialist Ness Wadia.
Nargis was clicked giving Wadia, actress Preity Zinta's former beau, a casual hug and a peck on the cheek, after filmmaker Karan Johar's birthday party last month. After the photograph was published in a tabloid, rumor mills regarding their relationship status started working overtime.
The "Rockstar" actress is protective about it.
"Where is the woman with whom I walked out... whoever clicked it, seems to have cropped it. In my country, we meet people and say hello with a hug and kiss. Being courteous to other human beings is how everyone should be. I think it was all misinterpreted," she told at an event here.
She was earlier linked to Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor.
According to recent news, Asin Thottumkal is set to replace Nargis in Akshay Kumar-starrer "Khiladi 786".
At first, she preferred not to answer, but when she was asked about the same again, she answered: "No nothing... I think things happen like this... god has different plans for me."
