Mukesh Bhatt, whose production house is known for giving break to newcomers in the showbiz, is set to launch his son Vishesh as a director with his production endeavor "Murder 3".

“‘Murder 3' will be directed by Vishesh. Next month is the 25th year of Vishesh Films and it marks the debut of Vishesh as a director," Mukesh Bhatt, who named the banner after his son, said.

Mukehsh Bhatt co-owns Vishesh Films with his brother Mahesh Bhatt and the banner launched actors like Rohit Roy, Anu Aggarwal and John Abraham.

"This movie ('Murder 3') is as important for us as 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was for Yas Raj Films or 'Maine Pyar Kiya' was for Rajshri. This is a very important film for us," he further added.

Directed by Anurag Basu, "Murder" featuring Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat, was released in 2004. "Murder 2" came in 2011 and this time Mohit Suri wielded the megaphone, while Emraan and Jacqueline Fernandez played the lead pair.

But in "Murder 3", Randeep Hooda has replaced Emraan and Aditi Rao Hydari will play his love interest.

“‘Murder 3' will be a different movie. Unlike 'Murder' and 'Murder 2', 'Murder 3' will not be an erotic movie but will have sensuality. Last two movies focused much on single screens, 'Murder 3' will be an up market movie for the multiplex as well," told Mukesh Bhatt, 60.

He added that the movie "will go on floors by July end" and that the "90 percent of the film will be shot in Cape Town".

Bhatts-Emran relationship is on the verge of split?

Emraan Hashmi, Mahesh Bhatt

The well-known Bhatt-Emran union seems to be coming to an end, if news is to be believed. It is commonly known in the movie circles that Bhatts were the only production house who gave the break to Emran Hashmi in “Footpath” (a 2003 release).
Ever since, all Vishesh Films (production house of Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt) has opted to present Emraan in the lead in all its movies barring “Dhoka” (2007). Muzammil Ebrahim, a hatchling model made the cut in “Dhoka” in the place of Emran. Matters seem to have changed in the equation between the Bhatt twosome and the serial kisser Emran of late.
The production house has zeroed in on Kunal Khemmu to don the mantle of hero in its upcoming movie. And the loser, for the present, is Emran Hashmi. Mukesh Bhatt is cheerful that “Murder 2” will be a trend-setter and the production house intends to lay its hands on raw talent and convert them to stardom rather than hiring pricey proven stuff.
He includes that Vishesh Films has carved a niche for itself by turning out hits sans the big stars and will like to continue this simple mantra to sustain in the field for a longer time.

Vikram Bhatt returns in old camp of Bhatts with 3D film 'Raaz 3'

Vikram Bhatt returns to Vishesh Films after 2003 with the third part of the horror movie 'Raaz', which will be made in 3D and which he says is the most important movie of his life.
'For me, 'Raaz 3' is more than a film. For me, it's homecoming. It's a gift that I want to give to Bhatt Saab (Mahesh Bhatt) and Mukesh-ji (Mukesh Bhatt) because they are responsible for what I am today. For me it's the most important film of my life. It's going to be scarier in 3D and at the same time it's going to be more of a love story with great music,' Bhatt said.
Bhatt made his last film with Vishesh Films in 2003 with 'Footpath'. He started his career in 1992 with a Vishesh Films production, 'Jaanam', and then went on to do four more movies with them, including the first of the 'Raaz' series, which was a major hit. The second was directed by Mohit Suri.
