Don't compare 'Bbuddah...' with 'Delhi Belly': Big B

Amitabh Bachchan's 'Bbuddah Hoga...Teraa Baap' and Aamir Khan's 'Delhi Belly' are set to hit the theatres together July 1 and the superstar feels the two movies cannot be compared as Aamir's production company has a bigger commercial standing than AB Corp.
'Aamir and his production company are much bigger than me and my AB Corp, in commercial standing. We are a small budgeted film of Rs.10 crore, from a group of artists that do not compare equally with the cast and starring of 'Delhi Belly',' Big B posted on his blog.
'They have spent Rs.35 crore on their movie. That would show the intensity of their investment. They would have to do a very large business to recover their money and they will -- looking at the past record and the present standing that they have,' he told.
The 68-year-old star, who will be seen in a colorful avatar in director Puri Jagannath's 'Bbuddah Hoga...Tera Baap' also feels pulling down each other wouldn't help anyone.
'We cannot be compared to them... they are bigger than us... and shall do bigger ... leave it at that... if our film is liked, it will fetch dividends, if not, it will not... simple and straight. We are not going to be able to make a rupee more by pulling down another. Each of us shall have our own merits and demerits, and so be it,' he posted.

Amitabh revealed uncomfortable parts in movie 'Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap'!

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a special, flamboyant and colorful avatar in forthcoming movie 'Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap', but he has tweaked the character's role to suit his sensibilities.
'When (director) Puri Jagannath narrated the story of the movie to me there was a track that I felt won't go well with my character. It was little more frivolous than I was comfortable with. Puri readily agreed and we changed it,' the 68-year-old actor told journalists here.
'The track was that, since he was a flamboyant character, there were many extra curricular activities that he was involved in, so different tracks with different ladies were there. I didn't think that was nice and needed. So we dropped it,' he included.
'Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap' is a romantic comedy about an angry old man, who gets into problem because he loses his cool easily. The movie produced by Abhishek Bachchan is slated to hit screens July 1.
In the movie, which will see Amitabh in over-the-top clothes and indulging in everything from dance to action scenes, the director also made the actor ride a Harley Davidson bike, something he was not too comfortable with.
'It was difficult to ride the Harley. I am not very good with motorcycles. When I was told that I would have to ride one, I told Puri that I would need seven-eight days to rehearse in a big ground. But one day he suddenly told me that I have to ride it today itself. It an amazing motorcycle, very heavy and powerful. Somehow I just did it,' he discovered.

Raveena Tandon’s sexy and alluring song 'Main Chandigarh di star' in 'Bbuddah ...'!

Raveena Tandon who is making a comeback to item songs with her number 'Main Chandigarh di star' in 'Bbuddah ... Hoga Terra Baap', doesn't call it her comeback movie.
'Comeback is a very overrated word. Whenever I do something after even a little gap people term it as a comeback. How many times will I make a comeback? I would prefer to call it a backdoor entry into films,' she told.
Raveena, who last had a release in 2006 with a movie called 'Sandwich', has really shaped up and lost oodles of weight. She is known for her moves in item songs like 'Tu cheez badi hai mast mast', 'Yeh raat' and 'Shehar ki ladki'. But the actress maintains that her item song in 'Bbuddah...' is not a usual item number.
'Honestly it's not a typical item song of today. The coinage of an item song nowadays is a little different. Now item means something else only, but I have maintained that please don't expect a lot from the song because I am fully clothed in it,' Raveena said in an interview.
Raveena told she loved her character in the movie.
'It is a very cool, fun song. The character of the girl, who is a very talkative, over dressed, over the top person, and thinks of herself as a rockstar, is understood through this song,' she told.
'So, basically, it is an introduction to my character. It is catchy and I loved moving on it. The best thing was that we finished it in one shift,' she included.
In the movie that has been directed by Puri Jagannath and is slated to hit screens July 1, the 36-year-old actress will be seen opposite Amitabh Bachchan and this will be her fourth film with the megastar after 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', 'Aks' and 'Agni Varsha'.
'When this film was offered to me first, I had thought that I won't be able to do it, but then everyone said that you have to do it because this is perfect for you and only you can do it. Then I got to know that Mr. Bachchan is behind this, so I thought that even if I have five scenes with him, it will be great for me. This will be my fourth film with him, so in that thought I said yes to this film,' told the actress.
Recalling her experience of working with the 68-year-old actor this time around, Raveena told, 'My equation with Mr. Bachchan depends on the film that I am doing with him. Like in 'Bade Miyan...', I was like a brat with him always, since he has seen me since my childhood. But in 'Aks', it was very difficult for me because I had a very different role there.'
A mother of two, Raveena said she is overawed by Bachchan.
'I have idolised him since my childhood. Whenever I meet him I start rambling, I become nervous when he is around and I goof up a lot; so throughout 'Aks' I kept a distance from him, so that I can do the strong, confrontational, intense scenes with him,' Raveena told.
'In this film, it was very comfortable because I'm playing myself a carefree person. I was allowed to say anything to him because the character was like this; so I wasn't even scared that he might feel bad. It was very easy and fun to play this role with him,' she included.
Raveena has previously completed a bilingual movie called 'Laboratory'. She is also doing 'Aap Ke Liye Hum' with Jaya Bachchan which is still under production.
