Rajkummar Rao's 'Focus' runs into intricacy!

National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao is presently the toast of the town. He has earned rave reviews for his work in Shahid and Citylights, but his next project has hit a major barrier.

Director Akarsh Khurana, who was supposed to direct Bejoy Nambiar's Focus has walked out of the movie. The film was scheduled to start rolling next week onward in Kerala.

According to sources, Akarsh and Bejoy had a fallout and this made it unfeasible for the two to work together. The split, which took place due to creative differences, has been amicable. If this would have occurred in the middle of the movie, it would have definitely been a bigger blow to the project. Mentored by writer Robin Bhatt (of Omkara fame) Akarsh has penned the screenplays of movies like Krrish, U Me Aur Hum and Kites. It is hard to replace a director at such short notice, but Bejoy has shortlisted a few names and will make a decision soon.
