If rumors are to be believed, there could be a new actress-cricketer couple in Town.

Taking a cue from his teammate and friend Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina has apparently fallen for Kamal Haasan's actress daughter Shruti.

Shruti Haasan is often spotted in CSK stands.

A source close to the couple was heard telling a magazine, "Raina used to consider her his lucky mascot. This year, she has kept away from the cricket grounds. Yet Raina is playing extremely well. So the superstition has obviously ended. It is a mature relationship now and they are in love. But they are trying to keep it private and not speak about it in public."

"Shruti and Raina try to meet as much as their busy schedules allow them, and are very serious about each other,"the source further added.

D-Day actress Shruti has been often spotted cheering for Chennai Super Kings from the stands. Suresh Raina plays for the IPL team. Shruti was seemingly introduced to Raina by common friends at a party in 2013.

Shruti was earlier in relationship with actor Rang De Basanti fame Siddharth and Suresh Raina was rumored to be dating former minister Praful Patel's daughter Poorna.

Shy Prachi Desai dons sexy new avatar in Ek Villain’s Item Song!

When we were said that actor Prachi Desai will make a guest appearance in Mohit Suri's directorial "Ek Villain", little did we imagine that her look would be so smoldering hot!

Prachi who has been featured in the "Awari" track, looks every bit the lovelorn bar dancer, who seems to be oozing emotions from beneath her hot appearance.

Composed and rendered by the Pakistani band Soch, the song will also feature an actor whose identity is yet to be disclosed.

During a recent visit to the Balaji Motion Pictures office, Suri happened to meet Prachi, who expressed a keen desire to work with him.

"Prachi has been a huge fan of Mohit's hits and was overwhelmed when he instantly asked her to make an appearance in a track. Music has always been a major highlight of his movies," a source told in a statement.

"'Awari' is not a quintessential item number, it is a rock-style bar track laden with emotion," he further added.

Is it the end for Anurag Kashyap's new love story?

Anurag Kashyap’s love story comes to an end even before it could blossom. We had freshly reported that the filmmaker, post separation with wife Kalki Koechlin, found love in his ‘Bombay Velvet’ assistant director Sabrina Khan. All was going great till the love birds returned from their romantic vacation to Paris.

Post split with Kalki, life was not as bad as Anurag anticipated it to be. In fact, everything was slowing falling into place. The filmmaker shot his dream project ‘Bombay Velvet’ without a hitch, found new love once again, took off on a romantic holiday, and returned to start afresh. Little did he know that trouble was awaiting him back in India.

According to newest rumors, Sabrina’s father was taken aback when he read the newspapers about his daughter’s affair with the director. He couldn’t come to terms with the fact that his daughter was dating Anurag.

A source close to Anurag discloses, “He is trying to contact her for many days now but she isn’t answering her phone. May be the father has taken her to some undisclosed location for the time being. Anurag is very upset to have spoken about someone so casually in the media.”

In the meantime, Mr. Kashyap is presently editing his project Bombay Velvet.

Bobby Deol slapped by bodyguard in Mumbai bar?

Bollywood action hero Bobby Deol, who has been missing in action for quite sometime now, makes it to the headline after allegedly being slapped by a bodyguard at Karan Johar’s party, which happened sometime ago in a bar in Mumbai.

Well, according to close sources, Bobby was super high on alcohol and had actually ordered a guard to get him more drinks, following which there was a heated argument between the two, and then the bodyguard lost his cool and slapped the actor.

Bobby felt awfully embarrassed and left the venue instantly, with a zipped mouth.

Ranbir and Katrina plan an exotic 'holiday' in South Africa!

Ranbir and Katrina are having a wonderful time in South Africa. And if you are wondering what the love birds are doing there, well, they are shooting for their forthcoming movie Jagga Jasoos. A little birdie told us, RK even took his girlfriend out for a date night.

The shooting for Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos has gone on floors, and the alleged couples RK and Kats are making the most of it while in the unknown land, away from all media attention. They are enjoying shooting for the movie professionally and personally as well.

If what a source told us is true, post wrapping up the first day of shoot Ranbir took Katrina to a local restaurant to dinner. “He is making it up to her and giving her loads of attention. She’s very happy and in a great mood. Katrina is the happiest when Ranbir is around her and you can make that out by her infectious smile.”

In the meantime, the entire cast and crew will shift their shooting base to Johannesburg on June 2 for an important schedule, post which they will return to Mumbai by mid June. That gives them ample time to rekindle their romance and give their relationship a major boost.

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor pair up for ABCD sequel!

Shraddha Kapoor will be moving from one Student Of The Year alumni – Sidharth Malhotra in June release Ek Villain – to another: Varun Dhawan, with whom she will start shooting in July for ABCD 2.

The first Shraddha-Varun feature is a sequel to the 3D dance film ABCD – Any Body Can Dance, which proved to be a sleeper success last year. Now, director Remo D’Souza has joined hands with Disney India’s studio business for the sequel.

Remo is, of course, a notably demanding choreographer and one has never really seen Shraddha do an elaborate dance number in movies yet. The scaled up sequel which retains Prabhudeva from the original cast is slated to be shot extensively in Las Vegas with over 10 songs and dance sequences. Looks like Shraddha will have no choice now but to dance up a storm.

Rani Mukerji as Shivani Shivaji Roy in her next Mardaani!

Rani Mukerji’s much anticipated film, Mardaani first look is out, which sees the actress as Shivani Shivaji Roy, a shrewd and sharp-witted cop working in a Mumbai Crime Branch unit.

The poster sees the Bong beauty dressed in black kurta, sporting a gun in her hand.

Mardaani sees Rani play the role of a cop for the first time, and is the first movie post her hush-hush marriage to YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra.

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie will release worldwide on 22nd August 2014.

Considering that her hubby has produced the movie, we are sure it’s special for both of them. 

Is Varun Dhawan to be blamed for Alia’s wardrobe malfunction?

At the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania trailer launch, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan behaved like small kids, super excited, hyper active and just unstoppable. They pulled and pushed one another, lifted each other and then… BAM! Alia Bhatt suffers wardrobe malfunction. All thanks to Varun Dhawan.

All was going good and everyone was seemed to have been enjoying until an overenthusiastic Varun Dhawan decided to lift his on-screen babe, thus leading to an unfortunate peek-a-boo.

Alia’s salwar was really transparent and as Dhawan Jr lifted her up, Miss Bhatt’s undies flashed through the salwar. And visibly our camera men went clickety - click at the opportunity.

In the meantime, we hear that, Alia is very disappointed with her HSKD co-star and has asked Varun not to lift her in public at any more events and that he should take her permission before doing such a thing.

Vidya Balan’s new outing is very striking & fascinating!

The trailer of ‘Bobby Jasoos’, one of the most awaited movies of the year is out finally after much wait.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan plays the role of Bobby, a young girl who is keen on becoming a private detective. She is seen next to Ali Fazal of ‘Fukrey’ fame.

The trailer looks very promising, and Vidya once again proves her mettle with this latest outing as a detective. Throughout the trailer, she’s faultless, and gets into the skin of her character.

The trailer opens with Bobby going in search of detective jobs only to face rejection, ending up starting off her own detective agency, Bobby Jasoos Pvt Ltd. What next? Well, it’s crazy. Have a look at the trailer to know what we mean.

‘Bobby Jasoos’ is directed by Samar Shaikh and produced by actress Dia Mirza and her boyfriend Sahil Sangha under their banner Born Free Entertainment. The film whose music is composed by Shantanu Moitra is slated for a July 4 release.

Where did Deepika’s RK tattoo vanish?

It is no big news that Deepika Padukone got the nape of her neck tattooed when she was dating Ranbir Kapoor. The designed spelt ‘RK’. Post their break up, the dimpled beauty continued to exhibit it without any hesitation, despite getting over the heartbreak.

But now, looks like Deepika has at last wiped off the RK tattoo for good. Or could it be that she has camouflage it…?

In the latest Coca Cola commercial, Deepika Padukone is seen sans the tattoo. Facing her back towards the camera, Deepika Padukone suddenly turns and tells “Ae meri garden pe kya dekh raha hai”.

While it’s still not clear what she meant by that line, wethinks photoshop has done the magic.

Buzz is that director Anurag Kashyap who shot the commercial, did not notice the tattoo.

In the meantime, for those unaware, the actress is rumored to be dating her Ram Leela co-star, Ranveer Singh…. Could that be the reason why Deepika Padukone’s RK tattoo unexpectedly disappeared?

Akshay and Sonakshi starrer Holiday is a militant film!

After the super success of Ghajini in 2008, director A.R. Murugadoss took a six-year holiday from Hindi movies but is now back with his next movie, the Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday.

Murugadoss struck gold with Aamir Khan in Ghajini but the director tells “Akshay was my first choice for Holiday.” He asserts, “No one could have played this character better than Akshay.”

Comparing Aamir and Akshay, he tells, “Both actors are very sincere, hard working and full of energy.” The South director claims not to have had any difficulty in casting either of the megastars. He tells, “Since Ghajini was a remake, I didn’t have to convince Aamir to do the film.”

Murugadoss insists that Holiday cannot be called a remake of his Tamil movie Thuppaki and explains why: “Akshay wanted to make Holiday in Hindi with me but I requested him to allow me to make the Tamil version first. Therefore, I made Thuppaki in Tamil earlier.”

In keeping with Akshay’s action image, Holiday is also a taut thriller. Murugadoss discloses, “Holiday is a terrorist film but of a different type. It is about a sleeper cell. Being sleeper cells have common men, they know where exactly to attack. The intriguing tale has been conceptualised with the help of newspaper cuttings and I also read books pertaining to sleeper cells. After the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai, this story suits Mumbai the most.”

Though he is a superhit director in the South, Murugadoss would like to continue making films in in Bollywood. He reasons, “Bollywood producers are great to work with; they offer bigger budgets. Also, Hindi films have a wider reach than South films. If given a chance here I will surely make more films. I am comfortable directing in Hindi as well. And yes, I am here to stay.”

Ask him for his wish list of actors, and pat comes his response, “Salman, Shah Rukh, Aamir, Akshay and Ranbir Kapoor.”

Murugadoss watches Hindi movies regularly and singles out Vicky Donor, Barfi and Ram Leela as entertainers, each in its own space. But he doesn’t like to watch the remakes of his own films. He frankly discloses, “When I see my films remade by others directors. I experience trepidation. When I see the changes, I feel bad. So I don’t like to watch remakes of my films.”

Karan Johar clears air about his fall-out with Imran!

Much had been made about Karan Johar’s fall out with his onetime blue eyed boy Imran Khan who had starred in three of his productions – I Hate Love Stories, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu and Gori Tere Pyar Mein. After the disaster of their last movie together, Karan is currently not doing any movie with Imran.

But, the filmmaker rubbishing the rumors of a tiff between him and Imran Khan and insists, “Imran and I are very close and I am very fond of him. I am close friends with both Avantika and Imran. Imran has a close association with my company. I will continue to work with Imran and I respect him a lot.”

The filmmaker also dismisses his absence from Imran’s recent baby shower as indication of their split. Karan points out, “Not too many people from the fraternity were invited for the baby shower.”

But controversies seem to hound Karan these days and not just on his gossipy TV show Koffee With Karan. His newest film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya it is said is reminiscent of the 1990s classic Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Karan declares, “DDLJ is the epic love story but Humpty … is not a copy of that film. It’s a different film. I was the assistant director with DDLJ. I have the best memories with this film.”

In the movie Alia will be seen playing a fan of Karan’s real life friend and constant professional collaborator, Kareena Kapoor. Karan gushes, “There is only one Kareena Kapoor and I am not only a huge fan of hers on celluloid I also like her personally. I am very close to her.”

So far Karan is not too happy at the two actresses being compared to each other. “Kareena and Alia are two different people. Kareena has created tremendous niche for herself and set the bar so high that it’s unfair to compare her with Alia,” he pronounces before prophesying, “Alia has her own charm and I am sure Alia too will make her own space.”

Heropanti Movie Review

Tiger Shroff’s debut movie Heropanti has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now. The movie is a remake of Telugu superhit film Parugu. Also, debutant Kriti Sanon is paired opposite Tiger Shroff.

Choudhary’s (Prakash Raj) elder daughter Renu (Sandeepa Dhar) runs away with some not-so-important person. Fuming Choudhary sends his goons to nab the two. Unable to find them he kidnaps the boy’s friends and one among the friends is the dashing, super cool Bablu (Tiger Shroff).

Then love at first sight happens to dear Bablu and he falls for Dimpy (Kriti Sanon). Problem is, she is Chaudhary’s younger daughter. And so from here on we see Bablu showing off his heropanti and trying to win over Dimpy and change daddy’s stony heart.

The makers of the movie did put it a lot of effort trying to make the typical South Indian movie appropriate for Bollywood. Tiger Shroff is pretty good at martial arts and it shows. However, there is less of action and more of drama.

Tiger Shroff does an excellent job. Sometimes he just lacks the sincerity that a rugged hero needs. Kriti Sanon is impressive although she barely has anything to say all through the movie.

Heropanti is director Sabbir Khan’s second movie, the first being Kambaqt Ishk. The movie has some repeated, over rated dialogues, fairly good music and lots and lots of melodrama. Some dialogues will remind you of those 80s action movies.

Overall, it is worthy to watch once.

Alia overwhelmed, left speechless after watching Citylights!

‘Highway’ actress Alia Bhatt hosted a special screening of Hansal Mehta’s ‘Citylights’ lately, for her family and friends along with the cast of the movie - Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha , director Hansal Mehta and Producer Mahesh Bhatt.

The actress was in for a complete shock and was awestruck by Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha’s act in the movie and couldn’t stop praising the duo. The experience was awe-inspiring for Alia and the movie left her speechless!

“The trailer of the movie was very good and interesting. After watching the film, I am speechless. It was outstanding. We already have a national award winner, Rajkummar Rao in the film. But Patralekha, this is her debut film and she has acted so well which I don’t think I can ever touch upon!” tells Alia Bhatt

“After Highway, I always used to see if people have tears in their eyes. Then I think that the movie is a hit! And I came out crying of the theater, so the director was very happy!” told an emotional Alia Bhatt.

Well, with the movie connecting to the youth so well, we are sure that Citylights is going to win a billion hearts!

Anurag Kashyap is in love with AD Sabrina Khan!

Anurag Kashyap is in love with Sabrina Khan, his Bombay Velvet assistant director. The duo met at a party and immediately bonded like long lost lovers. This happened a few months ago, and ever since then, they have become an item.

A source discloses, “Anurag is crazy about her and fondly calls her Sabby. They recently went on a trip to Europe and spent a few days in Paris. He seems really happy and believes that Sabby has brought stability to his life at a time when his marriage to Kalki Koechlin was on the rocks.”

Anurag told, “Yes, I am dating someone,” he admits, without beating around the bush. “I’m in a really happy phase right now.”

For those unaware, Anurag Kashyap has been wedded twice before, his first wife Aarti Bajaj with whom he has a daughter Aaliya, and second wife Kalki Koechlin.

Anurag and Kalki are not yet formally divorced, but are living separately for a while now.

Asked if Kalki knows about Sabrina, he told, “Of course, she was the first person I confided in. She is happy that I am happy.”

So, will the filmmaker marry again? “Right now, we are just seeing each other. Let’s see how far it progresses,” he said.

Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur to file for divorce!

A few days back, Delhi-based industrialist and husband of Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay Kapur had moved the Bandra Family Court for getting custody of both their kids. Now, the latest we hear is the couple have filed for divorce as well, by mutual consent.

As per sources, the court hearing which went on for over three hours in Principal Judge Laxmi Rao’s court resulted in both of them deciding to settle the matter amicably, including the custody of their children Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor..

If sources are to be believed, Sunjay has been given `controlled access’ to the kids.

Buzz is that, the couple had filed for divorce sometime back, but was kept under the wraps. 

Lawyers Mahesh Jethmalani and Kranti Sathe, who are representing Karisma, have refrained from revealing any details, and so did Sunjay’s lawyers, Jalaja Nambiar, Narayan Suvarna and Radhika Mehta.

Sushmita divulges her marriage plans!

Sushmita Sen may be a single mother of two adopted daughters, but the thirty-something actress discloses that she would still like to get married.

The ever cheerful actress declares, “I think you save the best for last. I don’t think I should walk with the system. Our society has made this system wherein you graduate at 18, by start panicking about getting married by 22 and have your first child by 27. But I don’t believe in that.”

Sushmita, who has never been conventional in her thinking, maintains, “Every person’s DNA is different. I will certainly get married and for sure it’s going to be a beautiful wedding.”

The actress celebrated 20 years of being crowned Miss Universe (she won the crown in 1994) with 100 young cancer patients from the Cancer Patients Aid Association. Sushmita says, “I wanted to celebrate these 20 years with people who truly believe what it is like to celebrate life. I wanted to celebrate it with kids who teach us to be brave and celebrate life each moment.”

She got emotional about the turning point her life took two decades ago. “I want to thank my country for the opportunity because it’s a huge honor for me to have represented my country 20 years back. Time has flown; I was 18 when I won it.”

After putting up a great show at the grand Cannes Film Festival 2014, Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan were on their way back to India, and boy, they left the place in style. The duo was spotted at the Nice airport, accompanied by Vrinda Rai.

The hot momma sported the legging look, showing of a hint of cleavage, looking sexy as hell. I mean, who would even believe she’s a mother of a two-and-half-year old. She’s oozing hotness from every pore. I’m literally drooling over Aishwarya. She can give any woman a run for their money. Humpty and Kavy are in love but the latter’s arranged marriage stands in the way of their love story. Not the one to let his girl go so easily, just like SRK in DDLJ, Humpty Sharma uses every trick possible to win Kavy’s hand.

Under wraps marriage of Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherji in the middle of the shoot of Rani’s forthcoming movie, Mardaani, had astonished everyone right from the industry people to the audiences. Everyone inquisitive to know whether the actress has decided to maintain her surname as is or changes it on screen. ‘

Mardaani’ is Rani Mukherji’s first release after her wedding. So the question that now arises is if the actress will display her new name officially in the opening credits of the movie or not?
