The censor board has given an ‘A’ certificate to Madhur Bhandarkar’s much talked about movie, “Heroine”, which stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in the lead.
Breaking the news on Twitter, Madhur Bhandarkar told, “As expected got a “A” certificate from the censor board. Countdown begins for the launch of the poster & promo of #Heroine,” Bhandarkar posted.
From what we hear, “Heroine” exposes the Indian film industry. It gives us a glimpse of the real world behind the closed doors of make-up rooms and vanity vans.
Based on the life of a megastar heroine Mahi Arora, being essayed by Kareena Kapoor, the film also stars, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta and Helen in the supporting roles.
Heroine will release in September.
