First wrestler and action hero Dara Singh passes away at home!




Rustam-e-Hind Dara singh has passed at 7.30am today due to cardiac arrest. He was first wrestler and action hero of industry.
Previously Wrestler-actor Dara Singh's condition continued to be very critical. He was undergoing dialysis at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and doctors told there had been significant damage to his brain.
"His condition was not good at all," his son Vindu Dara Singh said.
Dara Singh had been hospitalized on Saturday. His close friends Dharmendra, Raza Murad, Farah Khan among others visited him at the hospital.
Dara Singh, who won the title of Rustam-e-Hind for his wrestling prowess, entered the film world in 1952 with "Sangdil".
He appeared in various movies like "Watan Se Door", ""Rustom-E-Baghdad", "Sher Dil", "Sikandar E Azam", "Raaka", "Mera Naam Joker", "Dharam Karam" and "Mard". He was last seen in a 2007 release "Jab We Met".
He has also done TV serials and is best known for his portrayal of Hanuman in "Ramayan".
