William Shakespeare’s works have inspired
filmmakers for decades, and back in Bollywood Vishal Bharadwaj has already
adapted the legendary writer’s works to make Maqbool and Omkara. Now there’s
buzz that Tigmanshu Dhulia wants to adapt his take on Hamlet and hopes to cast
Abhishek Bachchan as the lead. If all goes to plan then the film will be co-produced
by Goldie Behl, and will go on floors by the end of this year. Time will tell
if the Jr. B makes a good tragic hero.
