‘Oh My God’, Akshay wants SRK or Salman as a God!

Akshay Kumar is in search of Lord Krishna for his home production ‘Oh My God’. The actor himself was all set to play the role of Lord Krishna. However, things didn’t work as planned. He is now looking for a celebrity who can replace him.

Now, buzz has it that the rival Khans Salman and SRK are top contenders. A source reveals, “Since Akshay will be busy with other film commitments, he and Ashvini Yardi (the director) plan to approach either SRK or Salman for the role, depending on who is available.”

The movie was planned more than two years ago. It is an adaptation of Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play Krishna vs Kanhaiya.

The source further adds, “Till Akshay was playing the role, they were sure what they wanted. But now since that has changed the director is more than willing to change the script to suit the star.

Both Salman and SRK will bring in a very different kind of personality towards the role and it only makes sense to write the dialogues accordingly.”

The director of the movie, Ashwini has worked with both the Khans and is very confident of bringing at least one of them on board.

The source tells, “Ashvini has been friends with both Salman and SRK and therefore there is every possibility that they might come on board.”

On the other hand, we wonder if either of the Khans will have the time to essay the role.
