These days, presence of superstars and celebrities in marriage ceremonies is a must, especially for the high profile marriages. And very freshly, media have reported about the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Mir Shakeel-Ur-Rahman, the proprietor of a Pakistani entertaining channel where along with the other stars both Katrina and Shah Rukh Khan were in the list of invitees. While Shah Rukh left for Dubai to have a pleasure tour with his family, Katrina was enjoying her holidays in England. The news source informed SRK had a cordial presence and wished for the newly married couple. He was the one of the main attractions of the occasion. However, Katrina was not present in the ceremony.
The Rahmans family was expecting Katrina to come down for attending the ceremony. The source said they even tried hard to make Kat come to Dubai but it was all hopeless endeavors.
When Shahrukh was asked about the reason for the absence of Katrina he rather safeguarded Katrina telling that Katrina celebrating her New Year time in London with her family members. Attending only a ceremony all the way from London to Dubai for Katrina was rather difficult. According to him she could have obviously be present in the occasion if she was not with her family. Playfully he added that the actors get hardly any time to spend with their families.
