The 38-year-old son of filmmaker Yash Chopra forayed into acting with his home production 'Mohabbatein' in 2000 along with Jimmy Shergill and Jugal Hansraj.
Uday was later seen in 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai', which also did well at the box office, and has also been a part of successful 'Dhoom' franchise. However, his other movies failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.
