Salman enacts Cameo in a film only for friend Govinda

This is one 'Partnership that had gone bitter, courtesy Sonakshi Sinha. Apparently, relations between Salman Khan and Govinda took a downturn after Khan handpicked Sonakshi over Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa for Dabangg.

An annoyed Govinda never really forgave this misbehavior, though he was canny enough not to reveal it out to the scribe tribe. The incendiary Khan, who might have felt a twinge of regret over opting for Ms. Sinha, is all set to step into settlement mode.

It seems that, Govinda and Salman sorted out their differences in February 2011, when the twosome met up at the pre release event of Dev Anand's Hum Dono.

Word has it that while Khan won't just launch Narmmadaaa, he's nodded consent to a strategy that has Govinda pleased as punch.

As per a close source, Khan is all set to enact a cameo in Narmmadaa's debut co starring boxing ace Vijender Singh.

A close source reveals, "Director Lovely Singh is figuring out how he can include both the stars in a cameo in the film. Since the movie is basically about newcomers, it's been decided that both Salman and Govinda will not do full fledged roles, because the focus will shift to them instead of the newcomers."
