Working with Aamir not my immediate goal: Kangana Ranuat

Kangana Ranuat has impressed one and all with her performance in "Queen" and megastar Aamir Khan is no exception to it. While Aamir has expressed his desire to share screen space with the actress, she doesn't see it as her "immediate goal".

Kangana tells she has had a word about a future opportunity with Aamir, "but there is nothing concrete as yet".

"We would definitely like to work with each other. But I don't think that as actors, that's the priority we have. Our goal is to do things that excite us and along the way if we find an opportunity, it'll be great! But I don't think that's the priority...that's not my immediate goal, " the actress said journalists here at the launch of Krux stationary products range Saturday.

Kangana will next be seen in "Revolver Rani" releasing April 25. 

Kangana is endearing in 'Queen', says Arbaaz Khan!

Kangana Ranaut seems to have swept the whole Hindi film fraternity off its feet with her act in "Queen". Actor-director Arbaaz Khan is the newest celebrity to be floored by the actress' performance in the film.

He has called her an enormously gifted actor.

"I am going to personally talk to her (Kangana) and congratulate her. She is fabulous in the film, she is so natural, she is so gifted and talented. In this film you can see her come into her own, she is so endearing, watchable and this film is beautiful," the 46-year-old told here Monday following a special screening of "Queen".

Arbaaz further praised the movie, saying that it is one of the best he has seen in recent times.

"It is an outstanding and a terrific film. Kangana has done such brilliant work and it is a very well-written and beautiful film. One of the best films that I have seen in recent times and I think it will do really well," Arbaaz told.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Queen" is receiving a wonderful response at the box office. It is the story of a woman who goes on her honeymoon alone and enjoys her journey of self-realization. 

Is Kangana Ranaut an over confident fashion diva?

Actress Kangana Ranaut is a "fashion queen" and "overconfident" in real life unlike her role in the upcoming film "Queen", tells its director Vikas Bahl.

"Kangana is overconfident in real life. She is a fashion queen and her approach towards her life is absolutely different (from her character in the movie)," Bahl said.

The actress essays the role of Rani, a shy Punjabi woman in "Queen".

Bahl told, "She has played her part really well, but in real life she is nowhere close to Rani. Kangana has contributed a lot to this film."

"Queen" was appreciated in festival circuits despite being made as a commercial venture.

"For us, it's a huge achievement because 'Queen' was made as a commercial film and it was also liked by the festival audience. It's an achievement for us," Bahl told.

"Queen" will hit the screens Feb 28. 

Chillar Party director signs Kangna for his next Queen!

Vikas Bahl has signed Kangna Ranaut for his upcoming chick flick Queen. The Chillar Party director is currently penning the script for the film that is already in pre-production, and all I can tell you right now is that Kangna will play a Delhi girl in it. The film is being co-produced by Phantom Films and Viacom 18, and there is buzz that it will do for Kangna’s career what The Dirty Picture did for Vidya Balan. That’s a pretty big claim from a film that hasn’t even finished scripting yet, what say you?!
