Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan starred together in “Ekk Main Aurr Ekk Tu". Their pair was fresh and sizzling. And now they will be seen again in Punit Malhotra’s next movie, to be produced under Karan Johar’s banner. Punit in an interview said that he is making a film where Kareena and Imran will be playing the lead roles. The movie is not yet titled. Kareena and Imran’s last film together EMAET was a hit film which was produced by Karan’s home production, Dharma Productions, and was directed by Shakun Batra.

Punit told that this upcoming film will be romantic and beyond that, it is difficult to categorize it into a genre. The movie has no resemblance with “I Hate Luv Storys", the film is serious and not a romantic comedy, but is definitely a romantic film. Punit did not confirm whether it is a matured love story or not. Punit Malhotra debuted in Bollywood as a director with “I Hate Luv Storys" which had Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles.

This untitled movie is his second Bollywood venture. Kareena’s “Heroine" is set to be released this year in the month of September, while Imran will be seen in 3 movies to be released next year.

Actress Sonam Kapoor denies reports of having problems with actor Shahid Kapoor and director Punit Malhotra.

It was reported that the 26-year-old, who worked in Malhotra's directorial debut "I Hate Luv Storys", has turned down a movie by the young director because he has roped in Shahid, her "Mausam" co-star in the male lead.

However, Sonam took to Twitter to shoot down the reports and posted: "I'm hearing the funniest rumours about myself! In Thailand, and all I can say is I'm on the floor laughing."

"Okay morning guys I'm not mad at Shahid Kapoor or Punit Malhotra and I'm not dating anyone! I'm minding my own business and working," she further posted.

Sonam Kapoor and Punit Malhotra have at last opened up to the world at Imran Khan’s party on Thursday night. The pair behaved like lovebirds.

A witness disclosed, “Though Sonam and Punit entered the party separate, once inside Imran’s house, the two stuck to each other throughout. They looked like they were in a very happy and comfortable space together.”

Sonam and Punit, it may be recalled, have been tremendously discreet about their relationship.

Speaking about Sonam and Punit’s chemistry, the eyewitness disclosed, “They were very comfortable with each other. It was very clear that they are fond of each other. It is high time they came out in the open and declared their love for each other. Love is a beautiful thing, and moreover, they have been going steady for the last two-and-half years now. Why do they continue to play hide-and-seek?”
