Himesh declines a film with Vivek for buddy Salman!

Himesh Reshammiya has high regards for Salman Khan. It seems that, he has opted out of Soham Shah’s upcoming movie, ‘Sher’, reason being Vivek Oberoi’s entry in the movie. It is heard that Vivek has replaced Sonu Sood in the movie.

Okay! But why did Himesh walk out???

Buzz has it that Himesh’s closeness with Salman Khan has made him reject the offer to direct ‘Sher’s’ music.

According to a source, “Himesh has decided not to do the music for the film as Vivek Oberoi has joined the cast. When Himesh was signed, he was told that it would star Sonu Sood along with Sanjay Dutt.”

We wonder how Sanjay Dutt has taken this….

“Himesh has tremendous respect for Sanjay Dutt. In fact it was Dutt who had recommended his name for the film. Also, Himesh too wanted to work with him since a long time. This is the reason why he is also composing music for Sammy remake which is being directed by KS Ravikumar,” told the source.

News also has it that, Himesh determined to stay back only because for Sanjay Dutt. However, matters turned sour when Vivek told that Sher is bigger than Tiger (Salman’s latest release is Ek Tha Tiger).

The source added, “He wanted to opt out then and there. The makers wanted Himesh to deliver the final song for them but he is not going to do that. He has lastly determined to walk out of the movie as he did not want to work with Vivek at all.”

Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya confesses that actor Salman Khan, a godfather to many newcomers, for his success in the Hindi film industry.

'For me it's always been god, dad and Salman Khan. He (Salman) has been a driving force for me. I just want to thank him for his support. Thank you Salman bhai,' said 38-year-old Himesh, whose music in the actor's 'Bodyguard' was well-received by the viewers.

Himesh, who allegedly had a spat with Salman sometime back, minced no words while thanking the actor and his family for helping him at every stage of his decade-long career either a music director, singer or even as an actor.

'After this break of one-and-a-half years and with love and good wishes of Salman bhai, my first movie 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya' was possible because of the Khan family and now my 101st movie 'Bodyguard' also is getting me awards. It's all because of their love. In some way or the other Salman bhai has been the reason for my success,' told Himesh.

After his achievement as a composer-singer, Himesh took up acting in films like 'Aap Ka Suroor', 'Karzzzz', 'Kajraare' and 'Damadamm'. He is looking forward to more acting and music assignments.

'Now after this break I am all set to give music, and I will give music for a lot of films. I will produce quite a few films too and will also start with my acting spree. I have four films in hand. I'm creatively reloaded. I'm ready with eight to nine scripts, which I have compiled for production houses. As far as the music front is concerned, when I had come here at the age of 16, I came with 300 songs and today I am ready with 500 songs and have signed 250 artists for’ it,' he included.

Himesh is also set for some international projects, both, as a composer and as an actor.

'An international album in collaboration with Lil Wayne and Edward Maya is also ready. I have formulated 15 songs for it and the album is called 'The Edge'. DJ Edward Maya is doing my song and Roman White, who directs Justin Bieber's videos, is directing our album too. I am also doing an international film 'A * Is Killed',' told Himesh.

For 2012, his hands are full with films like 'Namastey London 2', 'Dangerous Ishq', 'Khiladi 786', 'Shortcut Romeo' and 'A New Love Ishtory'.

Salman supports Himesh to take on Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One!

Salman Khan had decided to take panga with Shahrukh by helping Himesh Reshammiya in his forthcoming movie Damadamm. The film is slated to release on the same day of Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan is backing Himesh and is also expected to watch Himesh’s film in a particularly organized trial.

According to a sensationalist, “Salman is overseas shooting for Ek Tha Tiger. He will return home on October 21. Salman loved the promos of Himesh’s films especially the songs Umraao Jaan and Madhudhaala. Himesh, who has always considered Salman his lucky charm, wanted to show the film to him. Salman agreed immediately.”

“Salman and Himesh are very close. Salman has been giving Himesh tips on film promotion as well. Himesh seems to need as many tips as possible considering his film clashes with SRK’s RA.One this Diwali. Now, with Salman coming to watch Damadamm! the attention will shift to Himesh’s film. Salman, needless to say, will choose Himesh’s Damadamm this Diwali,” included the source.

Himesh told, “Salmanbhai has liked the promos and I want my lucky charm Salmanbhai to see the film as soon as possible. Although my film will be competing against Ra.One, I am super confident that Damadamm! will also make a mark. I am sure that the product will bring a smile on every face.”

Interestingly, Salman Khan is also a part of a promotional video for Esha Deol’s comeback film “Tell Me O Khhuda”.
