No sequel for Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger!

Ek Tha Tiger will not have a sequel. The director of the movie, Kabir Khan has no plans of making a part 2 of the original movie.

Kabir tells, “People think about a sequel because we left a scope at the end of the movie. But honestly, we have not thought about one. It’s just two months that the film has been released. For now we, including Salman, are not planning a sequel. Everybody is so delighted with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’s’ collection. It is the most profitable movie for Yash Raj.”

Looks like the makers of the movie are still enjoying the sweet success of the movie. It’s been almost two months since the movie released. It is heard that shooting Ek Tha Tiger was not an easy affair. It was a tough and tiring task.

“We put in a lot of hard work. It was physically a very demanding movie for Salman and me because there was a lot of action being shot in different parts of the world. I am soon leaving for Africa so by next month I should be clear on what I should do next,” tells Kabir.

Kabir Khan is not keen on starting any project anytime soon. Seems like the film maker is in the mood to chill and relax. He tells, “As I mentioned before, I haven’t finalized what my next one is. Once I get back from Kilimanjaro will I finalize who the actor will be and which script to work on and the producer as well.”

Ek Tha Tiger finally gets 200 cr club status!

As anticipated and projected the Yash Raj Film’s last release, which was directed by Kabir Khan, EK Tha Tiger has at last touched the 200 crore mark.

Netting nearly 2 crore in its latest outing, the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer crossed the 200 crore mark in five weeks, just from India.

EK THA TIGER is also Salman Khan’s biggest overseas grosser with £1,414,600 from UK, Aus$622,200 from Australia and $2,650,000 from the US.

EK Tha Tiger is only the second movie to cross the 200 crore mark after the Amir Khan’s 3 Idiots. However, it looks really tough for ETT to cross the Rajkumar Hirani directed starrer as it’s run has almost come to an end.

The Song ‘Laapata’ from Ek Tha Tiger!

Watch out the awesome chemistry between the ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in their newest song ‘Laapata’, from their forthcoming movie, Ek Tha Tiger.

One cannot deny the fact that Salman and Katrina make such a good looking couple. Sigh! Wish they were together, off screen too.

The song is shot in the midst of old buildings on the promenade, colorful fair, and on the seafront, in Cuba. The couple goes dancing about, painting the town red with their sparkling romantic chemistry.

Salman sits at a roadside eatery, but upon spotting Katrina lounging on the balcony, he leaves everything aside to walk up to her. The two go out in a convertible, shake a leg with a couple of Cuban dancers, and enjoy getting wet in the splashes of the high waves.

Kabir Khan, the film’s director, posted, “We picturised #Laapata in the beautiful island country of Cuba… My favourite location in #EkThaTiger.”

Ek Tha Tiger is slated to release on August 15.
