Veteran actor Jitendra presented with Dadasaheb Phalke award!

Jitendra, whose acting career in Bollywood spanned three decades, was freshly honored with 2014's Dadasaheb Phalke award in Mumbai.

After receiving the honour, the 72-year-old actor expressed his gratitude to all the people who shaped his career.

"I would like to thank my film industry, all my directors, actors, my light boys, spot boys, art directors. I am standing here today because of them. Last but not the least, I thank my family," he told.

In the meantime Farhan Akhtar, who won the Best Actor award for 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' at the event, told "I am very happy that my film, my work has been appreciated here. It is an honour to receive an award from honourable Governor, an award that is a tribute in the name of Dadasaheb Phalke who is the father of Indian cinema".

Also, Juhi Chawla won the Best Actress award for 'Gulaab Gang' and expressed pleasure in receiving the honour.

"This one has been specially given to me for the performance in "Gulaab Gang". I have been honoured with this award for "Gulaab Gang", so I am very thrilled that my first negative role received such nice recognition," she told.
