Actor Prateik believes that the much-awaited turning point
of his life can come with his forthcoming release "Issaq".
"Turning point of my life hasn't come yet. If you
(audience) help me, then that turning point will come with 'Issaq'," the
26-year-old told while addressing a young crowd at a college.
Prateik, who has earlier featured in movies like "Jaane
Tu... Ya Jaane Na", "My Friend Pinto", "Aarakshan" and
"Ekk Deewana Tha", was there to promote the movie.
After the super hit "Raanjhanaa",
"Issaq" is also based in Benaras, and Prateik tells it is perhaps the
flavor of the season. But he insists his film goes "a lot" beyond
romance.
"You can say that it's the flavour of this season.
Benaras is the flavour of this season, even romance is. But we are not just
bringing romance, there is a lot more," Prateik, son of Raj Babbar and
late actress Smita Patil, told.
Directed by Manish Tiwary, "Issaq" is a modern
adaptation of William Shakespeare's play "Romeo & Juliet". Also
featuring Amyra Dastur, "Issaq" hits theatres July 26.
