Manjari Phadnis |
Manjari Fadnis, who left an impact with her performance in the rom com Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa opposite Imran Khan, will soon be making her debut in the Kannada film industry with the movie Munjanee. She is cast opposite famous south superstar Ganesh. The film is directed by well known filmmaker S Narayan who was the one to select Manjari for this role after watching her Telugu film, Shubhapradham in which he really liked her look of a simple Indian girl.
Munjanee is a light hearted, sweet family entertainer. Manjari plays the role of a young cheerful girl from a middle class family. She plays the daughter of a postman who is going through difficult times.
Probe her to share a few details about the movie and she answers, “All I knew was that I loved the script and that there were big names attached to the film and it was being produced by a very big banner.”
Apart from this movie, this Mumbai based girl already has three Telugu, a Tamil, a Bengali and another Kannada film called Dilkhush in her kitty. When asked how she deals with the language barriers, she says “I ask for my dialogue sheet a week in advance so that I can learn them and also understand their meaning. As a result it becomes easier to emote”
Well looks like Manjari Fadnis has her hands full with multi lingual movies for now.
