Producer Shailesh Singh, who is known to back good content
driven cinema, has managed to get two supporters Irrfan Khan and Nishikant
Kamat together again for his forthcoming movie Madaari. Irrfan would be
essaying the lead role in this movie to be directed by Nishikant. The last time
this actor – director duo worked together was Mumbai Meri Jaan, a movie that
set of a good chemistry between the two.
When asked to about his opinions on working with Nishikant,
Irrfan told, ''During Mumbai Meri Jaan I developed a good bonding with
Nishikant and have since then always wanted to work with him. Hence when a good
subject like Madaari came up I instantly agreed and am really very excited for
the movie.
Shot across the length and breadth of the country, including
locations in Mumbai, Shimla, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaisalmer and Hyderabad, amongst
others, Madaari is a hard hitting Social Thriller with very strong emotional
connect starring Irrfan Khan, Jimmy Sheirgill and an ensemble cast. The film is
slated to release by July – August 2015.
