Aamir Khan’s latest film PK has already been in headlines for the controversies. Be it for high-ticket rates, nude PK posters and now in news due to its religious controversies.

Allegedly, Prashant Patel, Secretary of Hindu Legal Cell has lodged complaint against director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sidharth Roy Kapur.

The movie provoked religious sentiments because of the scenes, which were reported to openly insult Hindu religion. One of the scenes was shot in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi portraying Lord Shiva that has been wrong according to the viewers. An FIR was then launched against the team of ‘PK’, including the actor.

People have also criticized the Hindu-Muslim relationship that has been showcased through Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput’s on screen chemistry.

Even on twitter Aamir khan’s fans have haters have #WeSupportPK and #WeBoycottpk comments.

Even though with so many controversies movie has worked well at the cinemas.

The film has received thumbs up from the viewers and people from the industry.

The film is Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and released on December 19, 2014.

Priyanka Chopra's Madamji delays due to Bajirao Mastani!

We had lately reported that Priyanka Chopra was supposed to start shooting for her debut production project Madamji with Madhur Bhandarkar in December. To make matters worse for Madhur, Priyanka recently signed a deal with an American network and she will have to spend two months in America as well. This long list of events has prompted Madhur to push Madamji to April as he wants to shoot without a break because he doesn't want Priyanka's character's story to be interrupted.

Vikas Bahl, who scored a huge hit with Queen and is presently working on Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor starrer Shandaar. But, he has already zeroed in on his next project - a television serial Bollywood's most powerful Khan Family.

According to close sources, Vikas is planning a show which revolves around a 'filmy' family with one of the protagonists being an aspiring actor. This is going to be Vikas' way of giving audiences a sneak peek into what goes inside Bollywood in a funny way.

He has already had a word with Sohail Khan who has supposedly agreed to be a part of this show. In addition to this, his actual family- Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Salim Khan have all agreed to cameos in the show. At the moment, however, Vikas is busy with Shandaar's post-production work and has said that cast and crew will be confirmed by February.

As an actor, you are anyways going to talk good about your film, says Anushka Sharma!

Anushka Sharma has all the right reasons to be overjoyed. Her PK has taken a bumper start all over and in the process wiped away the deficit that she had encountered post Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. With the movie crossing the 100 crore mark already, it is still going outstanding at the box office even on the weekdays.

Still, the fact remains that as a tactical decision, nothing about PK disclosed in the promotion. Though now it is known by one and all that the movie deals with God, God-men and religion in general, at the onset of the film's marketing and promotional kick-start, didn't Anushka worry that the strategy of keeping mum may backfire as there was a chance of audience not getting intrigued enough?

"No, and that's because the promo was appreciated a lot," immediately tells Anushka, "If the promo is not interesting then people won't come to theaters, no matter how much you bombard the marketing and promotion campaign. When you start talking too much about a film, it doesn't really add much because as an actor, you are anyways going to talk very good about your film."

She goes on to add further, "I don't think I have ever been interested in watching a film just because the actor in it has been talking so good about it. I make my choice based on how the promo has made an impression on me."

Well, guess the promo and now the movie have indeed made an impression on the viewers, what with the movie set to have a long run in time to come.

In the mean time, while Anushka has now scored big with Rajkumar Hirani, 2015 is already looking appealing indeed, what with movies each with Anurag Kashyap (Bombay Velvet), Zoya Akhtar (Dil Dhadakne Do), Navdeep Singh (NH10) and Karan Johar (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil).

Arbaaz Khan and Sonam Kapoor's Dolly Ki Doli a remake of Punjabi film Ronde Sare Vyah Picho?

Arbaaz Khan is flabbergasted. Ever since the promo of his third production Dolly Ki Doli went online (and fetched some very good response for itself), some mischief mongers started spreading the rumor that the film is a copy of Punjabi film R.S.V.P. [Ronde Sare Vyah Picho]. As has turned out though, the script of Sonam Kapoor starrer was registered almost three years ago (in January 2012) whereas the Neeru Bajwa starrer film was released in October 2013.

"The only similarity between the two films is that the leading lady dupes her groom, and that's about it. Beyond that there is absolutely nothing similar between the two films," informs our source, "As a matter of fact, even though the writer of R.S.V.P., Ved Prakash, felt initially that Dolly Ki Doli has been flicked from the work that he had put together, he was pretty content after being made aware of the core of the Arbaaz Khan production."

In R.S.V.P., Neeru Bajwa does dupe her groom (Harish Verma) but has a gradual change of heart when latter hunts for her and brings her back into the family. On the other hand in Dolly Ki Doli, Sonam Kapoor is shown as a serial con girl who takes Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat for a royal ride.

"I don't know where this is coming from, especially after Ved Prakash met me and I explained how ours was a completely new and original script while being registered way back in January 2012," fires away Arbaaz, "There is no room for speculation here. Just because the leading lady is a con artist doesn't make two films just the same. Ved too seemed to have agreed to the details I shared with him. He understands there is nothing similar between the two films."

When contacted, Ved Prakash too refuted all the speculations. He said, "I met Arbaaz bhai and he assured me that there were no similarities between the two films. He even showed me the proof of beginning work on his film way back in 2012. I was content with the evidence provided by him and was content Dolly Ki Doli was not a remake of R.S.V.P.," says Ved.

PK does not slam Religion or Godmen: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan's PK has received a lot of criticism on social media and elsewhere for hurting religious sentiments of people. PK although opened to full houses and is considered the biggest hit of 2014, has been panned by religious groups for mocking their faith and questioning their beliefs.

Coming in defence of his film Aamir tells, ''PK does not slam any Religion or Godmen. It has merely thrown light on the hypocrisy and mal practices carried out by certain people under the guise of religion. Not all Godmen take undue advantage of the poor and needy and it is unfair to put all the lumps in one pool. There are several Godmen who indeed help out their followers and treat everyone equally. For those who have seen PK, they would know that it is a fable and a work of fiction wherein an 'alien' just wants to find his remote control and return home.''

PK saw the teaming up of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani after a period of five years.

Ace Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's Khamoshiyaan is turned into a Novel!

Vikram Bhatt's horror directorials 1920, 1920 - Evil Returns and the soon-to-be-released Khamoshiyan will turn into novels. The set is set to be released in the end of January.  

An elated Vikram Bhatt tells, "I'm simply thrilled. More so because the film of such genre gets an Adult rating. With the book coming out, young adults will also get to read my stories. It's a first for me and I'm excited to gauge the reaction to this marketing initiative."

Khamoshiyan is helmed by debutant director Karan Darra and stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi. It releases on 30th January, 2015.

I have not signed any movie after PK: Aamir Khan!

While the audiences are still raving about Aamir Khan's path breaking act in PK, it comes as a shock to many that he will not have any releases in 2015.

Rumours are on that he has signed a biopic on a wrestler which is tentatively titled as 'Dungal' and a film with Karan Johar. But the PK star refutes these rumours and says, "I have not signed any movie after PK. I will inform the media when I do find a script worth taking up. "

Aamir's last release PK opened to packed houses and have received positive response from the critics as well.

Sonam Kapoor celebrates New Years 2015 in Dubai with family!

It’s an annual family ritual for Anil Kapoor to bring in his birthday on 24 December with his family. But this time Anil’s son Harshvardhan won’t be joining the family, as he is shooting for his debut film in Rajasthan.

Anil reveals, “I am really happy that I’ll be spending time with my wife Sunita and my daughters Rhea and Sonam. We’re flying to Dubai for my birthday and Christmas on 24 and 25 December. But unfortunately my son Harshvardhan can’t join us. He is shooting for Rakeysh’s Mirziya in the interiors of Rajasthan.”

It seems that Mehra was more than willing to let Harshvardhan go for the annual ritual. But the young aspiring actor chose to fore go the family vacation.

Anil further adds, “That’s okay. There will be many other occasions for us to be together. Right bow Harsh needs to concentrate on his career.”

Aamir Khan offered Rs.8 crore to Umesh Shukla to stop shooting ‘OMG’?

Aamir Khan’s “PK” revolves around an alien who in search of his locket asks questions about god’s existence. Post the release, the film is being compared with Akshay Kumar’s “OMG – Oh My God!”.

Rumour is that when director Rajkumar Hirani got to know that the Akshay-starrer, which was directed by Umesh Shukla, dealt with similar subject, he along with Aamir and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra offered the director Rs.8 crore to stop filming the movie.

According to a newspaper, a source told, “OMG was still being shot then. Aamir, Rajkumar and Vidhu offered Rs 8 crore to Umesh to stop shooting the film!”

In the meantime, “PK”, which released in theatres on December 19, has already raked in Rs.95.21 crore in the opening weekend. It also features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla.

Director Rajkumar Hirani reveals why Ranbir was roped in for PK!

Already you all know about Ranbir Kapoor’s cameo appearance in Aamir Khan-starrer “PK”. The actor plays an alien in the movie who comes to earth with Aamir’s alien avatar.

Director Rajkumar Hirani says they added the cameo at the end so that people can theatre happily.

“As a team, we never lock a script completely, we keep working on an idea and we keep modifying it. Since we realised that ‘PK’ will be gone, and he didn’t get the girl at all, we wrote in the ending with the return and with the cameo. It was funny, and we wanted people to leave the theatres happily,” Hirani told at a recent press conference.

The movie has already created a huge buzz in the industry and is said to be Aamir’s best performance till date. However, at this point the director is not planning a sequel to the movie.

“As of now, there is no plan to make a sequel to PK,” he told.

“PK” also features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla. It released in theatres on December 19.

Salman hasn't watched “PK” yet, reveals Aamir Khan!

Aamir Khan’s “PK” has become one of the most recommended movies of 2014. Not only the critics gave it positive reviews, even the audience is loving it. The movie also received a thumbs up from the B’Town celebrities. But Aamir’s good friend Salman Khan has not seen the movie yet.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, “PK” also features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla.

The actor hopes that Salman watches the movie soon.

At a recent press conference, Aamir said, “Salman hasn't been able to watch the film yet, hope he catches it soon.”

Talking about the response the movie has received, he said, “Lots of people have called this my best performance, and that is motivating me to work harder for my next film. The role had no reference points, so after playing a college boy in 3 Idiots, this was interesting. I loved the script.”

Aamir also spoke about the recent ticket pricing controversy where the prices of tickets at a few single screens in Mumbai were hiked. He said, “Well, I am not in control on ticket prices. I don't decide that.”

Hit TV Show Kumkum Bhagya: Abhi restores Dadi’s faith by tying the holy thread around Pragya’s neck!

As Pragya was previously in bridal attire, all family members insist Abhi to tie the mangalsutra around Pragya’s neck.

After that, Dadi wakes up from her coma and thinks it to be karwa chauth seeing Pragya dressed up as bride. Rumors have been on about Sid Mallya’s Hollywood ventures but now it seems like there is some solid development on his acting debut.

Looks like Sid Mallya is all set to finally make his silver screen debut, having landed himself his debut film – an international production that shows off Sid’s true blue Brit side. Directed by Calcutta based Q, produced by Steve Barron (who’s other comedies include Dan Akroyd’s Coneheads and Mike Bassett: England Manager), the movie story is centered on the quizzers scene in the early 80s in India. It is a smart and witty teen comedy. Director Q has created quite a stir in the indie film circuit with festival hits like Tasher Desh and Gandu.

“Being an independent content focused film, it’s not too massive a production and has both a British and an Indian team working on it since a large chunk of it will be shot in Bangalore, Sid’s hometown. The film will go on floors in the first quarter of next year.” says the industry source. Apparently the film has Sid in one of the leading roles with 4 new talented actors being cast as pivotal roles alongside him.

The industry source further tells, “Sid’s been showcasing his mad side with his recent web series #SidSessions, responding to all the craziness thrown at him on social media with humor, wit and without taking himself seriously. The response to it has been incredible. He certainly has on screen presence and the ability to engage people. The producers and director is looking forward to getting the best out of him.”

It seems that, the debacle of Action Jackson has sounded out alarming bells for the makers of the Akshay Kumar-starrer Singh Is Bling to be directed by Prabhudheva. The director has been asked to rework the script of the romantic comedy.

If sources are to be believed, in a fresh meeting regarding Singh Is Bling, the investors requested Prabhu to make sure that the script of the film is surely going to impress viewers. The director had reportedly agreed to their suggestion and has started reworking the script which was otherwise ready. Reportedly, the film was supposed to go on floors early next year.

Considering the budget and Singh Is Bling being a sequel to the hit 2008 Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Singh Is King, Prabhu cannot afford to go wrong – certainly not, when the stakes are so high.

Is Aishwarya Rai compromising with her fee for Sanjay Gupta’s Jazba?

With huge budget films failing to create any wonders at the box-office, many megastars are finding themselves in hot waters. Current reportage indicated Saif Ali Khan’s clear willingness to slash his pay in the repercussion of Happy Ending’s unfortunate performance. With such trying times looming large, we wondered if it would be easy for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is making her comeback with Jazba to demand her ‘Once upon a time’ market fee.

Producer-director Sanjay Gupta, on the other hand, clears the air. “Why should Aishwarya take a pay-cut. There is no question of she taking any pay cut. Why will she take a pay cut? Today the films are not failing, it is always the budget. The satellite market has also crashed so there is no production happening. Four or five of the biggest studios don’t have a single film on floors right now. So there is trouble in paradise right now,” tells Sanjay

Elaborating on how losses can be optimized, Sanjay reveals, “From all the duds of last year, the studio has lost an X amount. Take the ATL (Above The Line) payment of the movie. The ATL is the main star cast and the director. Cut the ATL by half and the studio will face no loss.”

The filmmaker also believes in not overpaying his stars. “The only place we are going wrong is when we are overpaying. My theory is don’t overpay and don’t underpay, too. I am ready to pay your normal fee and then take the extra money from the profit. I wouldn’t want to take the first share from its profit. I would let the star have the first share as without the star my film would have never been made in the first case. So, all I am telling stars is, take money from my profit and not pocket.”

Jazba, as Sanjay puts it, is a commercial film starring four big stars, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher.

I’ll make sure Shahrukh watches the Bigg Boss show now, says new host Farah Khan!

Did you know that SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss? Disclosing this was SRK’s close friend Farah Khan herself. Although it is not clear why SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss, we feel this could one of the reasons why he never promoted Happy New Year on Bigg Boss 8 despite being friends with Salman. Finally, what’s the point in promoting your movie on a show that you don’t watch yourself?

But, all that is set to change now after Farah takes on the hosting responsibilities. The makers of the controversial reality show have now determined to grant the show an extension of a month and have roped in Farah Khan to host the show for that extra month. Salman whose contract will end on 4th January 2015 refused to take an extension as he doesn’t have any free dates to shoot for Bigg Boss due to his movie commitments. The megastar will apparently be busy shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Farah has been roped in after a couple of other actors, including Anil Kapoor, seemingly told ‘No’ to hosting the show.

Farah who is a self-confessed Bigg Boss fanatic told that she was looking forward to hosting the show. “Everyone knows that I’m a huge Bigg Boss fan. I used to tweet about it all the time. I am a Bigg Boss junkie. I follow all the contestants and I’m thrilled to be hosting it.”

Farah also praised Salman calling him a mind-blowing host and told that no one can take his place. She, however, said that she would make sure to get her friend SRK to watch Bigg Boss when she starts hosting. “SRK doesn’t watch Bigg Boss. But if I am hosting, I will make sure he watches it.”

Perhaps Farah can even get SRK to put in his maiden Bigg Boss appearance on the grand finale of the show. 

Vivacious actress Juhi Chawla has some issues with Aamir's PK!

The foremost co-star of superstar Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla (who starred along with him QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK in first film) recently watched PK. Though she loved the movie and director Rajkumar Hirani's work, she confided that she has some issues with PK. There are a few things in the movie which she doesn't agree with.

After watching the movie, Juhi took to a micro-blogging site and wrote, "I ve been a Raju Hirani fan ... after watching PK my respect for him soars ..!! It's brilliant!!Congratulations to Aamir Raju andall PK team. And it was lovely to watch Sanjay dutt in PK ... He is adorable ..." she further added, "I have some issues with PK … I agree with a lot of things but disagree with some. nowTHATS a good film.One that stirs thought and discussion."
