Aamir Khan offered Rs.8 crore to Umesh Shukla to stop shooting ‘OMG’?


Aamir Khan’s “PK” revolves around an alien who in search of his locket asks questions about god’s existence. Post the release, the film is being compared with Akshay Kumar’s “OMG – Oh My God!”.

Rumour is that when director Rajkumar Hirani got to know that the Akshay-starrer, which was directed by Umesh Shukla, dealt with similar subject, he along with Aamir and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra offered the director Rs.8 crore to stop filming the movie.

According to a newspaper, a source told, “OMG was still being shot then. Aamir, Rajkumar and Vidhu offered Rs 8 crore to Umesh to stop shooting the film!”


In the meantime, “PK”, which released in theatres on December 19, has already raked in Rs.95.21 crore in the opening weekend. It also features Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and Saurabh Shukla.
