Deepika Padukone’s fury over the lewd TOI article and her
fitting answer has got everyone from the industry backing her and guess who’s
just lent his support to her? Her Happy New Year co-star, Shah Rukh Khan!
At the audio launch of Happy New Year that took place a
while ago, Deepika Padukone had a lot of questions on these hullabaloo thrust
upon her, just like one would expect. But she didn’t really say that much about
it. “I said what I had to say. Everything will be taken care of...” was all
that Deepika Padukone told.
Shah Rukh Khan though, reacting for the first time on the
controversy lent her support to her and was all praises for her for reacting in
the way that she did. This is what he told, “She’s said what every woman in the
world feels. We’re always going to be in a situation because of our
photographs. But we’ve not had the guts to do what she’s done. It’s important
to respect girls. And all of us have to stand by her in this issue because it
was wrong to put up something like that. We shouldn’t make it a part of
conversation and we love her.”
