Arjun Kapoor cheers his peers – Varun, Sidharth and Ranveer!

In the late 80s-early 90s, there was a wave of new actors – Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn — who stormed in and took over the box office. The recent past too has witnessed of many new names — Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Sushant Singh Rajput and Tiger Shroff – who have shot to fame, ensuring Bollywood Generation Next is pretty much in place.

But this time, there is much bonhomie among the teenagers. For example, Arjun Kapoor cheers loudly for his peers. “Competition is good,” tells Arjun, “but there are lot of films being made, so why get bogged down by comparisons and discussions? Each one of us is in a profession that so many people dream to be in. We are fortunate enough to have placed our first step. Why wish ill and bring in negative energy?”

With a 100-crore success in 2 States behind him and a Tevar to look forward to, Arjun is generous in his praise for his colleagues. He tells, “I saw Sidharth’s Hasee Toh Phasee and loved his work so much that I woke him from his sleep and congratulated him. His Ek Villain is looking interesting too. I was upset for a long time that I couldn’t see Varun’s Main Tera Hero but it will be interesting to watch his Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. And Ranveer, of course, is a brother after Gunday, and I always look forward to his work. I am very excited about him doing Kill Dil.”
