Here’s the very first trailer of Rock On director Abhishek
Kapoor’s latest movie, Kai Po Che, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s book The 3
Mistakes of My Life.
The movie features three friends, TV actors Sushant Singh
Rajput, Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Yadav as Ishan, Omi and Govind. The music, by
Amit Trivedi, adds a lot of drama to the movie.
The first trailer opens with the three friends having a fun
conversation inside a car on a highway. The film headlines Amrita Puri as the
female lead.
Director Abhishek Kapoor says Kai Po Che was a complex film
for him to make.
“It is a difficult film to make and it took me more than
two-and-a-half, three years to put this story together,” he told at the wrap-up
party.
The tale is about the journey of three friends, as they
discover cricket, religion and business in their respective fields. Set against
the backdrop of religious politics, the story underlines the three mistakes
made by Govind. The film as well as the book is set in Gujarat ,
so the title Kai Po Che.
The movie is slated to release on February 22, 2013 and looks very promising.
