Talaash captures real old locations of Mumbai!


Aamir Khan’s ‘Talaash’, which will release on November 30 has been mainly shot on actual locations, local areas of Mumbai city so that the movie has a more original feel. The thriller, directed by Reema Kagti has captured areas that are old and are being demolished.
The movie starring Aamir Khan is shot in areas like Charni road, Colaba, and Lower Parel, as it might add a nice flavour of the city in the film.
Two places, the chawls and mills in Lower Parel have already given way to construction.
Director Reema told, “Real locations. Mostly old structures and buildings that are fast fading from Mumbai are used.”
Sources claim that the film has been shot on more real locations than on sets. Apparently, not even on set was used as the movie’s unit shortlisted 520 locations, and finally got to shoot in 47 locations.
Made on a budget of 45 crore, “Talaash” is a crime thriller, and will see Aamir Khan play th role of a police officer. The movie also stars Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor.
