Bebo refuses to sign Bhansali’s Ram Leela due to pregnancy clause!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali
We all know that Kareena Kapoor was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s original choice for ‘Ram Leela’. However, Kareena’s decision to tie the knot to her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan, before the film going on floors, made Bansali replace her.
In a press statement, Bhansali said he did not want a wedded woman as his Juliet in the movie. Oh! By the way, ‘Ram Leela’ is inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
Well, by “married woman”, Bhansali meant he did not want his heroin pregnant, during the movie’s filming.
Seemingly, he even talked to Kareena about this and asked her to sign a contract with a no-pregnancy clause. The actress refused.
“The bone of contention between Bebo and Bhansali wasn’t the money, as is being speculated in the media. It is reportedly the pregnancy clause that Bebo refused to sign,” a source said.
Deepika Padukone has now been confirmed to play Bhansali’s Juliet in the movie.
Kareena and Saif Ali Khan are getting married in October.
