Aamir Khan fulfills his mother's dream of Haj Yatra!

Aamir Khan for long has been trying to accomplish his mother's dream of Haj Yatra. According to information he will be accompanying his mother Zeenath Hussain for Haj Yatra. He will be leaving on Friday morning to Haj along with his mother. Aamir who returned on Thursday after completing his shooting schedule of Dhoom-3 from Chicago, while addressing a press conference after launching the audio of Talaash told, "I am leaving for Haj and will be returning in the first week of November.'

There were reports previously that Aamir lately asked his mother as to what gift he should bring for her from the U.S. In the response, his mother Zeenat expressed his desire to perform the pilgrimage (Haj). Since the women cannot perform Haj without being accompanied by a male – who should be her husband, son or brother. Aamir promised his mother that he would go to Mecca with her.

Aamir shares an emotional relationship with his mother and become extra-protective of her after the death of his father, Tahir Hussain, in February 2010. He has even got his mother to shift from Pune to an apartment in the same building where he resides and he actually spends more time in his mum's house than he does in his own.On his return from Haj, Aamir will kick off promotions for his next big release, Talaash, with a music launch event.
