The ‘desi girl’ Priyanka launches her ambitious project ‘IN MY CITY’.

Priyanka Chopra is on a roll. Her perfect performance in her newest film Barfi! won millions of hearts. And now, the beautiful Priyanka is yet again making waves for her international music debut titled ‘In My City’.

This is first of its kind from a Bollywood star. Priyanka voice is lively, crispy and very very internationalish.

At the launch, Priyanka talking to the media tells despite being a star, it wasn’t an easy journey. It took two-long-years. Recollecting how it all started, Priyanka tells it was Salim-Suleiman who recommended her to Devraj Sanyal of Universal Music, India /SAARC, who brought Anjula Acharia-Bath of DesiHits on board.

She then gathered a team of A-list music producers like Jimmy Iovine of Interscope, Red One of 2101, and the talent manger Troy Carter of Atom Factory that manages pop-culture icons like Lady Gaga.

While in midst of her busy schedule, Priyanka did not leave her ‘riyaaz’ and voice training. She truly is an inspiration to the Bollywood industry.

‘In My City’, featuring international singer Will.i.am, is produced by RedOne and Brian Kennedy.
The debut single will be available on every distribution platform and retail outlet. Nokia India will provide exclusive download of IN MY CITY to its consumers on its online store. The song will also be part of the upcoming Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour.
