Diva Vidya Balan who till now remained away from wearing sexy outfits and opted
to wear traditional kanchivaram Saris, determined to shed away her trade mark
sarees opting for a new image.
In
her forthcoming movie 'Ghanchakkar' Vidya is donning the role of a Punjabi
house wife opposite Emran Hashmi. The movie is a comedy craper which narrates
the tale of Emraan, an ex-conman who is laid back and has a taste for finer
things in life. And his ambitious Punjabi wife, Vidya, who has her own notions
about the world.
An
inside source tells, "Vidya Balan plays a colourf I play someone jiska
sapna hai ki uska pati use kabhi Europe ghumane le jayega."
The
shooting starts in August. It was at first scheduled to be shot in September.
Gupta is going to use Mumbai as the backdrop of his movie. One is likely to see
Vidya romancing with Emraan in the monsoon rains. The movie is supposed to shot
in the guerrilla-style mode with hidden cameras, like ‘Kahanni'.
