Joss Whedon inks a deal to write and direct The Avengers 2!

You don’t need to be anxious about how the Avengers sequel will be without the brilliance of Joss Whedon because the man has inked a deal to write and direct The Avengers 2. Disney’s decision to rehire the Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator isn’t surprising considering that the superhero flick has won over critics and audiences on its way to making almost $1.5 billion at the global box office. Joss’ contract will also see him creating a Marvel-based series for Disney that might turn into a rage of its own. I suggest you already start getting thrilled about The Avengers 2, which is due out sometime in 2015.
