John Abraham wants to produce the sequel of RGV's Satya!

The newest news of the bollywood is that, handsome actor turned producer, John Abraham might be producing the sequel of "Satya". John’s last project as a producer was "Vicky Donor" which was humorous and frothy, this time the handsome hunk wants to produce a film on some serious subject. It was being heard for quite some time Ram Gopal Varma wants to do a sequel of "Satya", and since then John is showing his keenness in the sequel. "Not only sequel of "Satya" various other projects are also in John’s offing, and he wants to have variety of films under his banner. "Satya" is an intense movie based on the lives in Maharashtra’s underbelly.
"Satya" released in 1998 and is a crime movie. The star cast included Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpai, J.D. Chakravarthy, Shefali Shah. The story revolves around the protagonist Satya who came to Mumbai to look for a job, and he gets involved in the Mumbai underworld instead. Though it was a low budget movie, but surprisingly it raked in moolah and was a super hit film of the 1998.
Anurag Kashyap as well as Saurabh Shukla wrote the screenplay of the movie. J.D. played Satya in the film, while Manoj played the role of Bhikhu Mhatre, and Urmila Matondkar portrayed the role of Vidya, an aspiring singer.
