In her forthcoming movie Barfi, Priyanka Chopra will be seen as an autistic girl. The actress tells, she is totally in love with her character and only hopes she has done justice to it.
“I thought Jhilmil will be difficult. Initially, it was difficult,” told Priyanka now that “my heart is with Jhilmil”.
“It is a very special character and I hope you like it. It is my most endearing character,” she added.
The actress was at the release of the movies first trailer.
Barfi also stars Ranbir Kapoor who plays a mute and deaf character and Ileana D’Cruz.
“When we meet differently-abled people, we always have a view point that they live a dark, sorrowful life. But this is not a film about that. They also smile, laugh, they fall in love, enjoy themselves. This is that side of their lives… I don’t think, after a while you will remember that these characters have disability,” she told.
Priyanka also aid that Ranbir’s character is lovable. She added, “He will make you laugh and you will want to be him”.
