Zee gets broadcasting rights of SRK's Don 2!

“Don 2 – The Chase Continues” is the last mega release of this year 2011. Now we hear that Zee TV has determined to buy the rights of the movie, the broadcasting rights. And the channel is ready to pay Rs 37 crore to get the broadcasting rights of the movie. Zee TV will be able to broadcast the movie till 7 years after that. Jayantilal Gada who is the top of the movie acquisition business for Zee, has told that the deal is a pricey and big one.
Reliance Entertainment was lucky enough by buying the rights of mega hits “Bodyguard” and “Singham”, by which they made profits of more than 100 crore. Satellite is one important source for revenue earning by producers and film makers, Priti Shahani has told, who is the chief strategy officer of Reliance Entertainment.
The movie is set to knock the theatres on 23rd of December this year. It’s directed by Farhan Akhtar, and co-produced by SRK, Riteish and Farhan. Its a thriller with Shahrukh and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles and also has Lara Dutta, Om Puri, Kunal Kapoor in other significant roles. Story is written by Farhan, Ameet Mehta and Amrish Shah. Music is directed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
