Rakesh Omprakash Mehra has been singing praises regarding his “Delhi 6” actress Sonam Kapoor because he casted her in the movie. It looks like the filmmaker is obsessed with Anil Kapoor's young girl. He has previously decided to employ her in his next assignment “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”, a biopic on India's top runner Milkha Singh.

While Farhan Akhtar will essay the role of the Flying Sikh, Sonam would be the female lead in the movie.

Verifying the plot, a source told that Rakesh has got an easy working relationship with Anil’s daughter Sonam. He loved working with her in “Delhi 6”. Also, Rakesh thinks that Sonam has got in her an extensive potential of becoming a top grade actress.

Rakesh, based on the source needed the female lead of “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” to become someone who can transport off a village damsel look completely.

Thinking about Sonam's avatar in “Delhi 6” and the acting skills she showed in “Mausam”, she appeared to suit the role tremendously well. Sonam is enormously beautiful and elegant, and she can live up to the desi avatar needed in the movie.

Sonam, however has not signed the contract of the movie yet. A friend of the actress said, Sonam is still discussing about the movie with the makers. However, it’s almost certain Sonam is going to do the movie. She is very eager to work once again with her favorite director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and the multitalented man Farhan Akhtar.
