Kalki says, it’s Anurag’s fault to feature me in intimate scenes; not mine!

Kalki Koechlin was always seen in art film type of films till the release of “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” of Zoya Akhtar. Kalki got to taste the masalas of a commercial film with ZNMD. And Kalki is absolutely very happy due to the success of the film. She told she really wants to do more commercial films, as she has always dreamt of herself as a commercial film star.

Kalki said that the most difficult and interesting character she has played till now is Ruth from the film “That Girl In Yellow Boots”. Her movie “Shanghai” which is soon to release, is by Dibakar Baneerjee and is a thriller. It has Emraan Hashmi opposite Kalki, and also Abhay Deol is in the film, though Kalki did not have any scenes with Abhay in the film.

“My Friend Pinto” is also waiting to be released. It has got Kalki and Prateik Babbar. But presently Kalki is free to travel around and enjoy acting in dramas. After the success of ZNMD, life has not changed much for her. Commercial movies’ directors are yet not keen on casting her.

When asked about her hubby Anurag’s statement that he feel very nervous to see Kalki doing intimate scenes with co-stars, Kalki told, its her hubby’s fault, he only features her in such scenes, so he must not complain.
