Manyata Dutt’s debuta as Producer?

Bollywood is abounding with actors going for the production job. It is a hard to take a single name in this class. It could be the dream girl Hema Malini who turned to producer director for ‘Dil Aashna Hai’, Manisha Koirala tried her hands at ‘Paisa Vasool’. Beauty queen and actress Sushmita Sen made ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’, Arbaaz Khan made the super duper hit ‘Dabangg’.

With a great number of actors turning producers, it is only noticeable that some of their wives are bound to follow their path. Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao herself mentioned that her husband is a dream producer. After ‘Dhobi Ghat’ was produced by Kiran Rao, it seemed clear that some of the star wives would follow suit. Now it seems Maanyata Dutt, wife of Sanjay Dutt is going to be the next star-wife producer. Her husband is supposed to play the lead role.

Sources tell that she will launch her venture later this year. Revathy Verma will be the director for her maiden production. It will be a two hero movie and she claims to balance the sense and sensibilities in it. Akshaye Khanna will be in the second lead. However, Sanjay Dutt, has denied the truth of the production story. News runs that once Revathy completes her Malayalam project, she will settle the date and time with Maanyata. Until then, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
