Mahima Chaudhary’s comeback with a gangster film!

Mahima Chaudhry debuted in the movie ‘Pardes’ made by the well-known director Subhash Ghai. She will now be featuring in a film called ‘Mumbai The Gangsters’. The director of this film is Wilfred Lobo. Mahima took a two year gap after she did her last movie. The reason for her two year long gap, according to Mahima was that she wanted to take up roles which are challenging and which have some meaning attached to it. She also likes movies which appeal to the audience and are worth watching.
The names of the movies she has done are namely, Pardes, Daag: The Fire, Pyaar Koi Khel Nahi, Dhadkan, Deewane, Kurukshetra, Lajja, Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Om Jai Jagdish, Dil Hai Tumhara, Dil Kya Kare, Dobara, The Film, Zameer, Film Star, Home Delivery: Aapko Ghar Tak, Souten and Gumnaam – The Mystery. The last film which she did was Gumnaam – The Mystery. Gumnaam was directed by Neeraj Pathak and was produced by Shubir Mukherjee. It stars Mahima Chaudhry, Dino Morea, Suman Ranganathan, Irfan Khan, Govind Namdeo and Rakhi Sawant. She was also endorsing mobile phones of an Indian brand along with the famous cricketer Kapil Dev. Mahima’s original name is Ritu Chaudhry.
