It is confirmed that Madhur Bhandarkar and UTV's joint production 'Heroine' is all set to start shooting.
Madhur had approached Kareena Kapoor several times to be the lead in this movie which is set to expose some the casting couch reality in Bollywood .Soon after the script was completed and after several meetings and discussions on the script, the actress graciously turned down the offer for reasons best known to her.
Afterward, Madhur had decided to put the project on hold and start something new. But the script of 'Heroine' continued to disturb him.
But it seems that the latest news is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been offered the title role and she has given the green signal to Madhur Bhandarkar. Though she's yet to sign on the dotted line, the actress has agreed to act the title role in this hard-hitting, realistic movie.
'Heroine' will be shot non-stop for two months, starting June first week.
