When she walked in from the green channel, customs officials found some valuables in her hand baggage during the scanning. She has been charged with carrying Rs.50 lakh worth of jewellery above the permitted limit and was detained by custom officials.

Sources also told Minissha claimed that those ornaments were purchased in Mumbai and carried them to the Cannes festival. But Lamba couldn’t produce the declaration form and is learnt to have also lost her luggage at the Nice airport.
She spent the afternoon being questioned about the billing. She was arrested for this. A statement will be recorded and a case will be registered against her, too.
