Shirish Kunder spends 3 crores to create ALICE IN WONDERLAND in film Joker!

Shirish Kunder, director of Joker is having completely different plans for his upcoming movie. Unlike many film makers who choose to shoot in real locations when it comes to shooting in forests, Shirish will build a set of a forest in Mumbai for his big budgeted 3D tale…
“If the film would have been shot in a real location, the cost may not have been so high. However Shirish wasn’t happy with a real forest since he wants to build a fantastical world for JOKER. Also, since the film is being made in 3D, there are lot of touch ups required for various shots in the film, something that would have been possible only if the forest was customized as per the scene’s requirement”, informs a member from the film’s technical crew.
It will cost almost 3 crores. The forest will look like the kind of world which was seen in ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
When contacted, Shirish did confirm that the set is indeed going to cost him 3 crores. “It should all be worth it though. Reason being that we need a huge space to shoot some of the most critical scenes in the film. It wouldn’t have been possible had we shot in a real forest.”
