At last, after much rumor over who the leading lady will be in Kabir Khan’s directorial next with Salman in the lead, Katrina Kaif has formally landed the role.
Salman Khan who had a few objections to Katrina being in the movie, has automatically resolved the same. A source close to the film disclosed, “Katrina and Salman are still very good friends. There is no bitterness now.”
Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also being considered for the role. “But obviously, the role suits Katrina better. Moreover, having worked with Kabir Khan, she is Kabir’s favourite; they share a very good equation,” included the source.
All said and done, this year seems to be turning out really well for the Katrina. She now has a movie with not just Salman in his post Dabangg fame but also with Shah Rukh to be directed by none other than Yash Chopra himself.
