Anil comes forward for preventing Sex Slavery!

He's turned philanthropic on the international front too. Anil Kapoor, who strode to global fame with his portrayal in Danny Boyle's 'Slumdog Millionaire' had seemingly donated his entire fee for the film to a famed NGO. Apparently, the actor is now devoting his time to an international cause against sex slavery and human trafficking.

Anil Kapoor will be part of an international project endorsed by other Hollywood biggies such as Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, singers Ricky Martin and Peter Gabriel, among others. Anil Kapoor will be part of a documentary on the issue of human trafficking as the cause's brand ambassador for the Asia Pacific region Anil Kapoor paid a visit to Bharatpur, a village located about two hours away from New Delhi. And it proved to be a harsh eye opener of sorts.

Anil Kapoor states, "Young girls at the age of 12 and 13 start working as sex workers and the parents themselves sent them out to earn money, while the boys sit back at home. I've been part of this war against human trafficking since the last two years."

He adds, "The one hour documentary will talk about how sex slavery is as serious a menace as terrorism or drugs. Unlike other crimes, it does not have a face that can be put in jail or action be taken against. It's a menace that needs to be changed."
