The fans gift nine tiny skirts to Deepika!

It’s a normal affair for Deepika Padukone to gets gifts and mails delivered to her house from her fans. If it’s soft toys one day, its chocolates to greeting cards the next.

But, this time, the actress received very strange gifts. Deepika was back from Bhopal after the shooting of her upcoming movie Aarakshan and was petrified to find nine skirts sent to her! This is the first time she has got such an unusual gift.

A source reveals, “Usually her fan mail is kept in a separate room. So whenever she comes back from outdoor shoots, she personally sits and reads through each one.

There are times when she’s answered to her fan’s letters as well. But nothing prepared her for nine skirts!”

The actress believes that these skirts are the reactions to her Dum Maro Dum number. The length of the skirts varies. “Some are extremely long, while others are short.” tells the source.

Deepika comments, “I’ve just come home. It has just hit me. It’s all because of Dum Maaro Dum.”
