Arya Babbar plays the role of terrorist Ajmal Kasab in film “Kuch Log”

Son of superstar and politician Raj Babbar, Arya Babbar is slated to play the role of terrorist Ajmal Kasab in the upcoming Hindi film “Kuch Log”, directed by creative Shuja Ali.

Ajamal Kasab is the prime accused of the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. Aarya Babbar debuted in the movie Ab Ke Baras in 2002, alongside Amrita Rao. Since then, he has done bit roles in movies like Guru and Chamku.

Aarya has confirmed the news of him bagging the role. He has also not denied the fact that the character is based on Kasab and not inspired by him. Aarya is very glad bagging the role and is thrilled as the role is very demanding. He has told that he hasn’t met Kasab in real, but he has read book about him. He is also taking training in shooting with a rifle.

Babbar feels that he bagged the role due to his Middle- Eastern and Afghani looks and his adroitness over Urdu and Hindu. Babbar’s father did not want the news to be leaked in the press.

The film is Shuja Ali’s debut film. This is all that Aarya Babbar has revealed about the movie.
