Katrina Kaif will act again with the three Deols in Yamla Pagla Deewana sequel!

If everything goes well, a sequel of Yamla Pagla Deewana may come out and buzz is that Katrina Kaif may play the female lead in the movie.

The remaining star cast, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra will stay the same. The shooting will take place in Birmingham and other parts of England and will roll on floors by end of August.

If Katrina tells yes to the movie, this will be her second with the three Deols, first being “Apne” in 2007. However, one reason why Katrina could say No to the movie is that, she is likely to get sidelined in a movie that is exclusively going to be an all-out Deol show.

We hear that the Deol’s have kept their options open.

The Yamla Pagla Deewana sequel will be directed by Sangeeth Sivan.

Veteran actress Hema Malini is overjoyed to learn that her husband Dharmendra will be honored with a Padma Bhushan, the country's third highest civilian award, and tells that the honour was long due.

"I am obviously very happy that Dharamji is getting the Padma Bhushan. It was long due and I am glad that the government of India is conferring the title to him," Hema said.

"He has worked with the best of actors, directors and technicians in his career. I doubt any other actor can boast of such extensive and successful career in Bollywood. Dharamji is very shy so he doesn't speak much about himself," she included.

The actress wedded Bollywood's original 'He Man' in 1980 and the couple has two daughters -- Esha and Ahana.

"I keep telling him that he must act in more movies. I feel happy when his work gets appreciated. Such kind of national honor is always appreciated," she told.

Dharmendra, 76, is known for movies like "Bandini", "Satyakam", "Sholay", "Chupke Chupke" and "Seeta Aur Geeta". He was recently seen in movies like "Yamla Pagla Deewana" and "Tell Me O Kkhuda".

He has been chosen for the prestigious honor along with actress Shabana Azmi and filmmaker Mira Nair in the art-cinema category.

Dharmendra says, 'Ghayal' sequel will be better than original!

Old hand actor Dharmendra is convinced that the sequel to the 1990-hit 'Ghayal', which starred his elder son Sonny Deol, will be better than the original.

''Ghayal 2' is going to be the most emotional movie. It will absolutely be even better. We are working very hard on it. We are still deciding on the cast of the movie but Om Puri and Sunny are there for sure. I'm confident this film will be very good,' told Dharmendra.

The Deol family is all set to revitalize their banner Vijeta Films with the sequel, and the 75-year-old Dharmendra tells he is confident about Sunny's work.

'Sunny is a wonderful actor,' he told.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, 'Ghayal' also starred Meenakshi Seshadri, Raj Babbar, Moushmi Chatterjee and Amrish Puri. It featured Sunny as an amateur boxer, who goes on to avenge his brother's death.

The movie won seven Filmfare Awards, including the best movie. In 1992, 'Ghayal' was remade in Tamil as 'Barathan'.

'Dabangg' dominates IIFA Awards 2011; Sonakshi, Ranvir SRK, Anushka in win list!

Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan was named the best male actor for Karan Johar's "My Name Is Khan", while Anushka Sharma picked the trophy for her role in "Band Baaja Baraat" at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards here.

Anushka, who played a lively marriage planner in the film, received her trophy from Shilpa Shetty Saturday night. Shah Rukh got his award from Anil Kapoor and American actress Hilary Swank, a surprise attraction at IIFA.

The best director award went to Karan Johar for "My Name Is Khan" - a tale of a Muslim boy suffering from Asperger's syndrome.

What made Johar's award even more special was that he was presented the trophy by "Jerry Maguire" actor Cuba Gooding Jr, who was joined on stage by Indian beauty Bipasha Basu.

'Dabangg' bagged five awards at the 12th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards here Saturday night.

Ranvir Singh won the award for debut male actor for his role in 'Band Baaja Baaraat'.

Accepting the award from Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, the young actor told, 'It is special to me as the award is presented by my idol. (But) it is just the beginning.'

Sonakshi Sinha bagged the debut female award for her role in 'Dabangg'.

Presenting her the award, Hema Malini told, 'I saw this girl and never thought she will become an actress.'

A beaming Sonakshi told, 'Toronto, itna pyar. Thanks for giving me the gift of IIFA. I will cherish it forever.'

Mamta Sharma won the award for best female playback singer for her song 'Munni Badnaam' in 'Dabangg'.

'I love you so much... Lalitji I love you so much... Shah Rukh I love you much... Toronto I love you so much,' told Mamta as Arshad Warsi handed her the award in the company of show co-hosts Boman Irani and Ritesh Deshmukh as well as Shah Rukh Khan.

The award for best male playback singer went to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for 'Tere Mast Mast Do Nain' from 'Dabangg'.

For best lyrics, the award went to Niranjan Iyengar for 'Sajda' and 'Noor-e-Khuda' in 'My Name is Khan'. The award was accepted by Karan Johar on his behalf.

For music director, the award went to Sajid-Wajid and Lalit Pandit for 'Dabangg'.

The award for best story went to Shibani Bathija for 'My Name is Khan', presented by Brett Lee, Fardeen Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala.

The award for best screenplay went to Abhinav Kahsyap and Dileep Shukla for 'Dabangg'. It was presented by Zeenat Aman, Prakash Mehra and Sant Singh Chatwal.

The IIFA award for best dialogue went to Vishal Bharadwaj for 'Ishqiya'.

The Outstanding Achievement Award went to Sharmila Tagore.

Presenting her the award, Shabana Azmi told, 'I am honored to present this award to an actress for whom I have the highest regard - a path-breaker, achiever, a person who has been successful in every avatar she has chosen.'

Dharmendra got the award for his half-century in Indian cinema.

Sharmilla Tagore told the award was 'such a satisfying thing. It's fantastic. After Dharamji (who was honored just before her), it is a tough act to follow'.

She recalled Dharmendra's large heartedness when he agreed to a change of schedule for the shooting of a movie when she had to 'rush to Calcutta for personal reasons as Tiger (her husband) was in the West Indies'.

For the first time at the IIFA, Star Plus channel presented the Hottest Pair award to Anushka Sharma and Ranvir Singh for which 15 million votes were cast online.

'Anushka, you make feel hot,' told Ranvir, accepting the award in her company.

The first Green IIFA Award by Panasonic went to actress Priyanka Chopra.

Arjan Bajwa praises Hema Malini’s multitasking Iron woman Personality!

Arjan Bajwa, who has so far worked with only male directors, tells he enjoyed working with Hema Malini in her directorial venture 'Tell Me Oh Khuda' and says she is authoritative yet fun to work with.

'Hemaji is an 'iron woman'. She has taken up so many roles in her personal life. She is a politician, a TV producer, a mother, a danseuse, a homemaker; she has been associated with social causes and now a filmmaker. One can learn so much from her and her work spirit,' Arjan said.

The movie is said to be Hema's attempt to re-launch her daughter Esha Deol in the film industry. It tracks the story of a girl's passionate quest to know her origins. Apart from Arjan, the film also stars Chandan Roy Sanyal.

Arjan, who forayed into Bollywood with Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' and then featured in movies like 'Faishon', calls himself fortunate to have got a chance to work with the 'Dream Girl'.

'I have grown up watching Hemaji's film. She is the ideal Hindi film heroine and has a vast experience as an actor. I consider myself fortunate enough to have got a chance to work with her in close proximity. I would say she is much more beautiful in real-life than she looks on screen,' told Arjan, 33.

'Hemaji is authoritative yet fun to work with. She has an amazing sense of humour, she would make remarks and you can't stop laughing on her jokes. She has complimented me for my work,' he included.

'Tell Me Oh Khuda' also brings together yesteryear stars Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna and Dharmendra.

'All three of them are different. And you can learn a lot of things from them individually. Rishiji is very energetic and behaves like buddies. Vinodji is such a good looking man, one can learn so much from his life and Dharamji is like a father figure,' told Arjan who shared a special bonding with Bollywood's original He-Man on the sets.

'Since both Dharamji and I are Punjabis, we connected instantly. We used to sit together and talk in Punjabi. He used to tell me about the culture of Punjab. I had grown close to him during the shooting of the film,' he included.

'Tell Me Oh Khuda' is currently in post-production stage.

Arjan is also working on a movie with Manoj Bajpayee tentatively titled 'Bijnor'.
